maisey is so considerate of others. shes good at picking out gifts a person would like. those were perfect gifts for wesley and flynn. i remember flynn when he was little he would pick out what he liked for others (like almost all kids probably do) lol.

COLLEEN!!! It does not make you sound crazy for the way you reacted to Defying Gravity. You lived it girl. Anyone who has been watching a long time knows how much touring and performing was so fulfilling for you and also knows how deeply devastating is that you don’t do it now, but I really believe that if you started touring again, true people who love you will come. You need it again!!!!! Don’t Doubt yourself and what you deserve and honestly what your fans want as well

Colleen, it’s time for a book recommendation! You said you like diaries, and I think you might like historical stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️. The book series “Dear America” is a series of diaries based on historical events in America. Basically, it’s about middle school girls living through history, making friends, and occasionally falling in love. It’s so cute

I wish Colleen can play on the real broadway musical of Wicked. How she passionately talks about the musical, and her explaining of how this musical affected to her life is just makes me think that it would be such a loss to not seeing her acting on broadway. Also, finding your passion in this life is such a precious thing. I wish I could find mine too..

Colleen! I know this is probably irrelevant to you since it’s the other side of the world but I thought I’d comment about it anyway, I was in an aquarium in Lisbon, Portugal today and it was incredible it reminded me of Flynn!! There were dozens of cuttlefish a whole section dedicated to them and so much information about them, and the aquarium in general was amazing there were thousands and thousands of different kinds of sea creatures and interactive games with the children I think your family would love it especially Flynn.

I talked my dad into seeing Wicked on the West End, I was still in high school and he was VERY apprehensive (also because we got Day Rush tickets so needed to get to the theatre super early and he is a theatre fan but has a very particular taste- like it's either intense drama thrillers or slapstick comedy). But we ended up sitting FRONT ROW CENTER, and he was just in AWE as soon as the Overture played, was wiping away tears during Defying Gravity (even started applauding with the rest of the audience at the end of the song) and I swear he was the first one to start the standing ovation during curtain call. Can't wait to see it with him 25 years (yikes) later in the movie theater.

Does he remember all the different construction trucks he used to be obsessed with? Did he retain the old info or is it just out of his brain like it would be for me lol

It's so amazing that you love to journal. One day the kids will cherish it more than you know. My mum was a huge journal writer her whole life. One of our favourites was her journal she kept from when she was pregnant with my older sister. They didn't have really good ultrasounds back then I guess cause she thought she was a boy the whole time 😂 mum (only 46 years old) passed in 2020 and it was so comforting to sit and read all of her many journals. Helped us feel closer to her ❤

Hei Colleen, again i wanna wish you a Happy birthday ! This vlog made me cry for a few reasons i wanna share with you. First, seeing Flynn being so big and confident and everything made me cry, because i remember you guys told us that you were pregnant and it feels like yesterday. My son was 1 & a half at this time and it made me sad because time flies so fast :( and then your reaction to the movie ... I wasn't lucky enough to ever see you on stage but i remember the videos you posted about touring and stuff, so i had to think about you singing the songs... its so crazy that it feels like yesterday, but was a pretty long time ago. 100% I was the same with wicked and I’m so glad to hear , that you , a massive musical fan and singer got the same reaction as me . I was sobbing at the end and someone was trying to talk to me on my way out of the theatre and I couldn’t even speak - I was like I’m sorry I’m crying to much 😂 your not too much drama when it comes time this it was more than warranted xx when you mentioned the feeling of the start of defying gravity , that gave me goosebumps and took me right back to one of the best moments of my life , watching that scene was epic and something I’ll never forget 🥺
