Thank you so much for such a motivational video. You are such a soft spoken person. Your video is surely inspirational and encouraging. I am almost 70 and I have changed my carrier as and when I got the opportunity. I even created a youtube channel after 65 when I went through cancer first time. Now going through cancer 2nd time and at this age, I am even working harder and learning so much on internet though sometimes I get frustrated due to my memory going down with chemotherapy. But if I keep active I am sure I will get rid of the side effects of chemotherapy. It was so worth coming here and learning so much more from you. Keep bringing more videos like this one. Thank you.

I was very fortunate to know what I wanted to do in life at around 16 when I stumbled across the word "Computer Programming". I did not go to college but instead graduated from a 2 year "Technical Institute" with a degree in Computer Programming in 1974 ... 43 years later I retired never having worked a day in my life ... I could not believe companies were willing to pay me BIG money just to play all day long programming computers ... LOL

When you say you graduated, did you graduate high school first, then go to a technical institute? When you say technical institute, was that a literal stand alone educational department or did you go to a vocational school adult program? Just trying to understand what kind of educational program was available at the time you were getting out of high school, back then. Today, the options available are adult vocational school programs or college.

@@maylin1986 In my day (Mid-70's) there were Analysts, Programmers, Computer Operators, Keypunch Operators etc... All programming was for character based screens (Simple stuff). Today companies hire Programer/Analysts who know how to build entire Applications from Web frontends to backend networked multi-platform interfaces. Yes you need a full 4 year IT college degree and if you want to be competetive ... also get an Accounting Degree like my son did. Good programmer/analysts are born NOT made. So please be sure you have what it takes to code. Take a Coding Abtitude Test to see if you have what it takes. My sons IT course started off with over 600 students and within 2 semesters, it was down to less then 80.

It's really weird how I have come into your channel and suddenly stumble upon this topic. I am really planning to study again with a course that I really like. For me, it will be worth it at the end. I'm already 25 years old. I'm also planning to create a KZbin channel about crimes but in my language, Filipino. Do you have any recommendation on free editing application? For instance, what do you use to edit your videos? To be honest, no matter what you've gone through, it really adds lesson in your life. The #1 lesson is all about patience. You'll understand that life is not about being the first or to be the best, but it's all about you enjoying the course of your life. It has nothing to do with competition towards others. It's all about you and you becoming better and strong: mentally, physically and emotionally. Also, financially. Whatever happens, never ever give up. For me, the important thing is you got a direction in your life just like the North Star in the night sky. It is really important that when you reach your 30s and so on in your life, you already know in yourself that you are living with a deep sense of purpose and meaning. You will not doubt yourself because you know, you did it your way and your life. That's why for me, in the 20s, it's all about experimentation about yourself and finding a direction of what you want to do really in your life, taking into account what you see of yourself when you reach your 30s, 40s, 50s and in your later years. It's better to do it late than reach your middle life and late years with regret. #carpe diem

As far as editing software, I do have a video about filming equipment & software for newbies on KZbin that you may find helpful! I primarily edit on Song Vegas Pro 17, which was a one time payment of about $70-$80. I’ve also used Kapwing. It is very user friendly, but does cost an annual subscription. I wish you lots of success in your life and career moving forward!
