500 on 7 cylinders is pretty nice. The tune you did for my car is working like a champ If I ever get the new clutch installed I’ll see what it does at the track.

I was going to buy that same fuel pump and was considering the 1200 but didnt because the little looking i did showed quite a few people were having issues with them burning up or stopping all together.. Magnafuel is a much better option..

I read that too which makes me a little nervous. Magnafuel is a good choice

Ive seen another guy on youtube say ditch the boots because of that. Im not sure why people like to jump to the conclusion that tunes cause all the issues when its just not the most of the time

I don’t have a terminator x but one thing I’ve noticed that I don’t like is the fact it only monitors one bank instead of both. A/F ratio is pretty important on both banks and can even help you diag faulty components when on data monitor. Being lean on the opposite bank that’s being monitored is not good. Just my two cents.
@RegularGuyGarage3 жыл бұрын
For me it doesn’t matter because it’s a single exit, but you can set it up to read both banks. Just need to buy the extra sensor and pin it

Me personally I don’t like the MSD wires, I spent over $200 on 2 sets of those. My car is N/A so I have more room but I burned #4 then #7 all with heat boots on them. I never felt that good “click” with those wires. Went back to Ford wires they snap on great and I’m able turn them once they are on away from headers.
@RegularGuyGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yea I don’t see what’s so special about the MSD stuff either, it just came in the kit I bought

Couple questions. If you go to a 2 pump setup where the 2nd will be turned on by boost, and your I/O's are full now, doesn't Holley have an I/O expander? Thought I saw that. And were you on dr's on the dyno before, and now on bias plys? I've heard bias plys will make a tad less hp on the dyno. Probably nothing to think much of, just sort of a side note. You're getting it all worked out man. And it's just gonna keep getting faster 💪🏼💪🏼
@RegularGuyGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yea within the holley you can wire up the fuel pump to run off an output and then command it to come on in boost or whenever you want. They do sell an I/O expander. I think I have 1 output to play with but I don’t remember. And no, different tire, but both are radials.
@jetcity71563 жыл бұрын
Glad it is fixed! I bet it hits 575whp now.
@six50motors3 жыл бұрын
You should easily make more then 525 I made 525 on stock bottom end right about 14psi with 190 11Rs trickflows with on3 kit & 67mm precision and Holley terminator x on 91 octane I went with the Holley 525 direct drop in they sell for a fox
@RegularGuyGarage3 жыл бұрын
Stick or auto? My converter eats up a decent amount of horsepower. I’m guessing it makes 550+ now that it’s fixed.

Man that thing could have made 600 if it would have been firing right, being u lost power with it not firing then the engine was having to drag the dead cylinder which is even more power loss, now about the turning............yeah the tune sounds way off ...............😂🤣😂🤣 nah man im jk I don't know why anyone would doubt your tuning capabilities as you have learned the system down to a tee , you tuned funkys car 500 miles away from it so that should prove that you know what the hell you are doing, but that just shows how much they actually know and trying to look like they know what they are talking about when they don't, dead battery they scream tune, or not enough fuel pressure they think that you can fix it with the tune and normally the ones that don't know are the first ones to speak up because the ones that actually know are actually thinking about everything that it could be while the know nothing's are blabbing away stuff that don't make sense, throw more timing and blinker fluid at it they say 🤣😂🤣 ,I know it gets aggravating but the ones who know, know that u know what is going on so damn all of the wannabes driving grandma's Prius 😂🤣🚗💨💨💨💨💨💨
