Always find that I've doubled or tripled up on some items. Or if you only wear something seasonally, consider selling and then re-purchasing it from your catalog later.

Fastest way to get villager photos is to give them an iron wall lamp wrapped in gift wrap :) Tested this several times vs wrapped stacked fruits! If you time travel, the iron wall lamp can get you a villager photo within 2 hours.

Here's what I did when I had too much stuff but couldn't pay off my loans to get a bigger storage: I 'placed' (not drop) all the items on the empty parts of my island away from where I usually walk around hahaha that way it's not difficult to find an item you eventually need to use, plus, it might help you get more stars for your island

If this helps others with money or storage troubles- You could hold a small auction for item duplicates, since it adds to your catalogue and you can get them again later, or a trade session where others bring their versions/colors for yours. Hosting or Nookazon works. There's also pumpkin selling if you water them everyday, and golden rose selling. Pumpkins are pretty good since they take up less space than fruit trees. Or make a "mountain" home since you have a beach house, and store things there. When villager hunting, fruit islands and rare fish islands are great farming places. Just go with a limited inventory. Taking a stack of iron nuggets or customization paint to refresh the durability or craft from lower quality while out and about helps too. There's also Nook's Cranny hot items if you have a stash of materials. Hope it helps, anyone.

pretty much if you want a villager's photo you need to build up "friendship points" to the max and that's when they'll give you their photo. some ways that'll help is: to talk to them everyday, give them wrapped fruit (that isn't your native fuit!), wrapped items that are over a certain price (if they give you something in return that means it's working i think), send letters to them everyday. if you don't want items cluttering their homes, you can craft them wall mounted items that sell for a pretty penny because villagers don't hang items that you give them. at least that's always worked for me so far. I've gotten almost every photo of every villager that's been on my island since April of last year 😊. it's a tedious process, but it actually gets me to log on to the game most days lol

tip: you should make a fruit farm or sell your fruit, I have a fruit farm and each time I sell all of the fruit I get around 100k bells. It may take a while to move and plant all the trees but it's worth it 👌 Also a good way of saving is just everytime you have over 10k in your pocket just put it in your bank account, now you don't have to do that if you only have 100 bells over 10k but I would say from 15k and up just put it in your bank account in about 2 weeks I saved 1,500 million bells😉👍

For now you are doing well, you have resorted to turnips, in which you must be very attentive every day. since out of nowhere the value can be up to 600 bells each. Try to see which items you need, and which ones you do not sell, it does not matter if it is special (you can get them again, you have a community that you would not have problems in getting it again) or a rare item. You can get it again later ... and do not think that checking the entire island for resources is useless, you can sell the same stones or what you do not use, for more bells
