The SCRs are always going to fall into hype colors. The moment they showed the themes, Yellow was out of the question. There are just no moments between those 2 leaders that overcome: -Red: UI Goku or U7 Spirit Bomb Goku -Green: FSK SS2 Gohan -Blue: Sword of Hope Trunks, MAYBE Merged Zamasu And honestly it's hard to argue the blue choices having more pull than the first couple I mentioned in Red and Green.

You got points. It's just, in a gameplay perspective, you give all the best cards to 2 colors, no one will play the others. At least the SCRs would have given people reasons to pick up blue/yellow 😅 but I guess I knew what I'm playing set 1

Blue does have one way to bounce a battle card that 5 cost or more is the 2 drop Goku. The downslide it need to bounce back your battle card 4 cost or more

Im honestly surprised yellow wasnt last. Im really surprised blue was last. I feel most excited for red and green as well but blue doesnt seem bad at all. Yellow seems like itll have a lot of potential later on in the games life.

In reference to your comments about the SCR, is there any limit to the amount of SCRs in a deck? Masters has the Ultimate keyword on all SCRs but I can’t find anything in the FW Rules in the deck building section about SCR limits

broly is better if there's ALOT of people on ssb goku, as the 5k is significantly better than a single pop 15k. and auto blocking the leader. If the format is more on gohan/droids he's gonna have a harder time since big tall is better vs broly than go wide. And yellow does have a place. but it's as an aggressive color using the cooler leader to get 3+ swings with the 40k. You just have to dump so much damage into the opponent that they are losing everything or just dying. I wish the gohan SCR was *differently* tuned, being unable to attack makes the card extremely bad, borderline unplayable in green mirrors, Since you play it. kill like. a cantrip. maybe a 5 drop gohan. and then they just play broly and kill it and swing at you twice.

I dunno, not being able to attack with the Gohan SCR is a pretty manageable draw back to just wipe the board leaving them with nothing. Forcing the opponent to set a board again which if they fail to do they’re gonna lose a lot of lifes, potentially lose the game

@@megamask3158 It doesn't just "wipe the board" it's nearly useless in the green matchup, because all the relevant attackers are 6+, board the scr vs green and watch them just broly it off the board. 0 value. the fact the scr is a 7 cost, makes you go minus one. and is bad into the best color makes it not worth playing.

@@philplaystcg420 I could be wrong, but I've played about 25 games on the digital beta, and Green seems to have trouble keeping up with hand advantage. I've been playing Frieza and haven't even been in trouble vs a green deck yet

@@Gafweebo oh I gotcha. So, the beta right now doesn't have access to SRs and SCRs. So that boosts green up quite a bit. Also, the Gohan and android leaders are better than the starter deck Broly leader. Yellow didn't really get many good cards in the set, so with access to all of the cards, green is MUCH better.
