I am such an architecture fanatic, being a Sculpture Major in university way back then…. Thanks so much for the tour 🙏

You never know what kind of venue you're going to play next in Europe - a castle, an amphitheater or a dive bar!

Wow you get to perform in some of the coolest places! RAWK The Castle!🤟🤟 Thanks for sharing.

That is so cool. I imagine it's quite cool heat wise as well. The acoustics are probably incredible. Play as loud as you want without bothering the neighborhood with walls that thick. Thanks for sharing.

Haha exactly, and if the neighbours do want to complain, they'll have to get across a moat first! 😂

I SO need to go there for a show some day! This HAS to be an amazing place to play, the Fortress of Prog! Thank you, I feel like I am seeing the video for the first time, even though I saw this original post 😀👏❤️

Hey Paul you are in Melfi! In that region they're food shredders... 😂 So... Enjoy! Cheers from Italy

Not every day you get to walk across a moat where were the alligators? How old was the place?? Amazing venue.
@PaulBielatowicz2 жыл бұрын
Haha exactly! It was around 1000 years old. Here's a link that Marcus posted in another comment here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_of_Melfi

Doubt you'll need to add any effects (like, say, reverb...?) to anything... 😎

Did your sound guy have any trouble with the acoustics of the room with the narrow stone walls and high ceiling? Can Carl Palmer be told to play softer? P.S. Castles are haunted..
@PaulBielatowicz2 жыл бұрын
Carl and be "asked" to play softer... but that usually doesn't make any difference to the way he plays! 😂 I can't really remember what the acoustics were like - sounded good on stage I think, but our soundman would probably tell a different story!
