Also that plant you think was daytura is called castor oil plant. Can get pretty invasive if left unchecked also the seeds are toxic. Coral tree control methods can be found on the dpi website and it will tell you what herbicide to use with the correcrt technique and herbicide rates for best outcome.

Those birds on the ground looked like black Chough (pronounced chuff). Nick names like farmers or dad’s chooks. We have them come in for the horse feed, every now and then they will eat out of my hands.

9:34 Yes, definitely White Winged Choughs! They have a red eye. Some people have commented that they are Apostlebirds - not so, these are larger and have white on the wings, apostlebirds are about the size of a blackbird, no white, more of a grey colour.

Datura plants have white flowers that look like a trumpet. Saw a Coral tree this arvo in the bush on the side of Fairford rd, Menai. First one I have seen down this way mate.

Do you know how you can tell a good metal roofer, from a crap one? The crap one can't count to 10 on his fingers 😅

The only reason why those trees would have been planted is that it would have been part of the development plan. Meanwhile the rest of the creek is heavily impacted by weed invasion. Once the funding for that paticular contract runs out the maintenance will stop. Its something but not the correct way

Everyone went with the apostle bird but i believe you are correct, they are white winged chough, it would certainly explain the white on the feathers that Aaron mentioned.
