I've had five back surgeries, I can relate to how hard it is ,to have to admit you can't do something!
@Angel_Billy4-30-234 жыл бұрын
Nancy McGee true, true. I mean, I was raised to always ask for help if I needed it. That's how you learn and that is how you survive. My parents always thought me that if I ever need help with anything, don't be afraid or too proud of myself to ask for help. Now, I was down for a while from work, well everything, because I was hurt on my job, I ended up slipping and falling and I hurt my back to badly to finish the work day. I had to leave early but I missed out on workers comp because I was too proud to say that it was their fault for not putting enough matts down. But yeah, I know it's hard because, it was really hard for me having to call up my parents and ask them if I could stay with them because I lost my job and couldn't afford rent, food, bills and everything else. But my parents told me that they are glad that I reached out to them for help instead of trying to either make it back to work with a fractured spine, or become homeless and try to panhandle to get by. But again, I'm the type of person who hates to have to ask for anything from anyone and I'd rather have to suck it up and go back home to live with my parents again versus living somewhere on the street and have to ask people for a bit of money or food or anything else every day. Sorry for going off on a tangent there, my point was, never be to proud of yourself to either ask for help if you need it or to admit that you just can't do something anymore and you need assistance or someone to do it for you. You're so much better than that and trust me, there are still some good people in this world who want to help you out with anything you need.
