Richard Tice is 100% correct. I'm a vet and although top brass in any if our armed forces puts forward plans on any kind of defence, it is ultimately the government gives the yay or nay on orders carried out. As Richard says, in 3 weeks using the appropriate resources, illegal immigration could be sorted and stopped. Ok, youll always get the odd batch of illegals trying to reach our shores but this is wot our armed forces comes into play. We serve and protect.

Part of our problem is that we're obsessed with the wellbeing of a bunch of foreigners, many of which do not have good intentions towards us. We house and feed them better than we do our pensioners and our veterans. We won't return the boats to France because we're worried about what a foreign court might say while France ignores all international rules. We need a leader with a backbone

Yawn. Declare an Emergency, as the Polish and Lithuanians did back in 2021 on their Belarus border, and that stops the lawfare. This is exactly why the Civil Contingency Act was passed back in 2004, so government can deal with emergencies quickly. The Conservative did not declare an emergency and provide legal protection for Border Force or for our military to act. Actually the only declared emergency there has been in recent years was parliament declaring A climate change Emergency back in 2019, which kind of it sums up what parliament thinks about things.

In Israel they operate a rule of reasonableness which permits certain authorities to defy the rules of a law if complying with those rules would be more trouble than it is worth.
