I've definitely noticed there is a difference in quality even between the canned green beans. If I have to get canned green beans, give me the brand name over a generic/store brand. I know it costs more, but the taste, for me, is apparent. Next level up is the frozen steamer bags, if I'm still short enough on time that prepping fresh is out of the question.

lol, maybe she got a stem piece, there's room for a lesson on where our food comes from and how it's processed. Sometimes we forget our food starts in nature and we may run into the occasional stem, seed, bone, feather, or rock. when i was this age one of the things my mom did that I really liked was let me help her sort the dried beans for rocks and bad beans. I have an excellent long term memory, and I remember asking her "why are there rocks in here, why are some beans bad, etc" and she explained how they grow and are picked, then dried so they won't go bad till we cooked them.

Yes my youngest son would eat nothing but cereal I was at my wits end with worry. Then he very slowly began to eat other things nbut they all had to be the same size .Thank goodness he now eats almost anything .But Sophia made me laugh she is just the same as my boy but she has a much better diet and I really did try his brother was a very good eater.
