After May 10 in South Carolina they will be allowed to enforce the law on the dumb modification done to SUV’s and Pick Up Trucks called the Carolina Squat. Hopefully this law/ban will empty our streets of these awful people.

Laws don't always fix anything. We have a law against driving in rain with no lights on. They don't enforce it at all. Some cop cars don't even use lights in the rain. Got to have police that are keeping the law for it to work

They are also blinding people with their headlights aimed incorrectly. These are also usually the same people who leave their HID bixenon bright switch on, along with a supplementary light bar turned on for highway driving. Of many things that are dangerous this one takes the cake especially towards truck drivers at night.

Thing is, those other mods have been around for a long time, if people and politicians wanted them banned, they would have done so long time ago. Carolina squat is a new fad that makes the vehicle dangerous to drive. It's like putting a dark tint on your windshield, tint itself is not illegal but putting it on your windshield is.

because it is dangerous. you cant see properly, your bumper is far too high and has no safety standards for someone else, potential for pedestrians getting run over more, engines are not designed to run on such a severe tilt and could break down or malfunction causing an accident. so yea, while i never care for politicians doing these things, sometimes they are on the right path too.
