This is a step below for Janibek imo. We were talking about him potentially being in the mix with guys like Munguia, Charlo & Andrade. They all move up. A fight with Adames for 2 or 3 belts couldn't get made for some reason, and he's been having trouble making Middleweight, according to reports. This could be all signs for Alimkhanuly to move up in weight. He would be entitled to a title fight with Scull (IBF Beltholder) next. Provided that Janibek wins, Munguia, Plant, Langa or others may put pin to paper & meet him in the ring. Just my thoughts.

After janibek's last performance, I thought he'd be food for the top guys in his division even though I don't think hamza is one of the top guys but I figured it'd be competitive. Maybe janibek is too high risk low reward
