This is beautiful to see, but I am interested about how it is received in society. For some reason, it's perceived as normal for a white couple to adopt a black child. I have to admit I was unaware that the reverse happens because it's not something you see. I am not trying to be ignorant, and we should be able to rise above color. Unfortunately, this world is still infected by racism. Sad. A new millennium and some of mankind has not evolved above its base feelings.

Right. There was a video on TikTok where this white guy who adopted a black girl was met with hate and even some would argue racism. Because a black waitress came up, asked her where her real daddy was, and proceeded to ask the white father what he could teach the black girl about her culture and how to be black. People like that have a hidden problem. Instead of the waitress just minding her own business, and smiling at a happy family, she had to open her mouth and upset the family and be mean at the very least.

@greyscalesx3 жыл бұрын
@@bodidiikinda3948 I'm sure you mean well but here my perspective. I'm mixed half Belgian and half from the Cape Verdean islands and it annoys me too. White people adopt black kids all the time and people think it's normal and everyone only talks about ''how nice it is, it's so wholesome and how it's great.'' But the time it's another race adopting a white it's always about ''shows racism is not inborn !'' '''It's so great they adopted out of their own race''. Why do feel the need to point it out like it's some kind of miracle for black to be..? Civilised ? Kind ? Do exactly the same things white people do ? Racism is discrimination foremost and it's not always overt. To me these comments are subconsciousnessly racist and maybe more classist actually because they clearly show they make the difference when they don't with a white couple. Like ''omg look at these negro's ! They aren't like the others, they are so special, not only aren't they poor/instable living conditions to be able to adopt but they actually accepted a child that's not their race !" Sorry the intention isn't maybe bad but it very much so cringe and ignorant to say so. Especially by stating something so obvious. If been asked in all seriousness by people how I got there (when teens), like physically, I was born here. But they meant like how since Africa obviously doesn't have planes or electricity (!), I often replied sarcastically that I swam over. Some actually believed it and some were suspicious. Did they meant to be offensive or bad ? No. Was it ignorant and racist regardless ? Yes. Because they were acting like I was some different (human) species not just half another ethnicity. Like I was in zoo but I was in the cage. You know amazed at the clever monkey who knows so many tricks. Ofc it's often much more subtle. That's what discrimination is and feels like. Having a bias and treating other DIFFERENTLY because of (insert trait). Now people don't bother @ me to tell me she didn't have bad intentions or she was been wholesome and how dare I. No I am aware, have addressed that it's not my point. Pass your turn too if you just wanna insult me. I didn't berate or insult them so I don't deserve it back. I'm not even mad, just wanted to my 2cents. A question was asked I answered I case the person did care about an answer. Maybe they'll look at it with a different perspective. Good night to everyone since it's midnight here in Belgium.

THANK YOU. God is using you and your family to break upon the ignorance, stubborn will, and unkindness in this world. Truly PURE love has no color boundaries. You guys are funny in the #shorts (the wig, and Princeton sick day are the funniest. Uncle Keven and Princeton departure during the ski trip was was the most heartwarming though. Princeton's affection for dad when he comes home (#short) is adorable but, Princeton's playful interaction with the older kids is the cutest).

And it isn't about racism it is about adoption, but FYI in our day and age to see this during a crisis in america before most people see the greatness of a child being given a home, they see the greatness of color not mattering either..FYI..I was adopted 41 years ago...this is gods gift to both parents and child..

@4scoops They have 4 children. Three that are older then Boosie. Ricardo is just naturally stone faced. He is usually like that even on their videos but he seems to be a really sweet guy. He is just a cop so they tend to be strict looking.

A black man adopted two asian girls and went into a store. This Karen walks up to them asking were they being kidnapped. The eldest girl said no this is our dad. The Karen proceeds to question them as though they were lying or being manipulated into saying what was being said. Eventually the eldest daughter told the women to mind her fn business and go away. This is what happens when blacks adopt outside of their race. Sad business.

He probably had a good 1.5-2 yrs on wanting g to adopt him. He even smiled so he wants this boy. He had lots of time to change his mind. Adoption is an emotionally draining process.

And they truly did live happily ever after. All I remember was the big microphone on that table and judge officiating, trying to bring it on down to mine and brother's level, the goings-on. Later feeling truly someone at school, wanted. 💛
