I might have to move out of Las Vegas for a new job next year. This city kicked my ass, but I still love it. I got sober here. 19 months and 23 days today. One day at a time.

I’ve been looking for love in the wrong places lately. The last person I met last night made me feel so incredibly loved. We drove the city late and I hoped for something I wasn’t going to get. What made me hurt the most was we talked about our childhood memories, we both didn’t know we went to the same elementary together. I was for sure she would be mine but she didn’t want the same. I know we barely knew each other but we had a great conversation that I never had with anyone else in this world. Now that she’s gone just like that….i don’t know if there will ever be a “someone” for me….. why did it hurt so much?

If she lives, then you have two options. One, be glad you had an experience with another person and yet move forward just the same. There will be plenty more experiences before you d13.
