The oldest human is probably Jodah! Jodah was alive during the Ice Age and was there when the Ice Age was ended. This broke the Shard. Urza didn't come back to Dominaria until later (he was unable to return because his Sylex Blast knocked Dominaria out of alignment and created a sort of bubble around several planes, meaning nobody could enter or leave that bubble). Jhoira doesn't come into the story until she joins the Tolarian Academy. Although she *is* very old, Jodah was almost 3,000 years old when Jhoira was born. Jhoira's current age is around 2,250 years (making Jodah over 5,000 years old by now. And still kicking Phyrexian ass!)

The O stone junction (as I'm going to call it) is an excellent study on what options existed and the thinking behind the decisions made. My thought on it would have been for Gavin to put the fate counter on the demon and expect Sheldon to activate O stone's second ability. How that might have affected later game points is something the alternate reality knows. Great game, fun times. Thanks for the game.

Happy one year anniversary!!! You know it's a party when there are two Rakdos decks on the table! I was gonna comment that the master of cruelties, having both first strike and death touch, it would kill the hydra well before it deals any damage, but that dreadbore made it kind of pointless.

I just started playing commander, and I bought a deck for Kardur and built it up a bit, after that I looked up kardur on yt to see him in action and came across this video, I know it’s old but I was cheering for Kardur the whole way and I’m very happy that Gavin won because I got to see my new favorite card win and it was cool to see that Sheldon had Kardur in his deck

Interesting politicking game with fun stack interactions. I am constantly amazed at Olivia’s ability to negotiate out of dying…and her ability to argue for why you should let her kill you. She is the master at saying “Go to hell” and making you think it’s a good idea.

Some trivia about bane of the living for Gavin: For a very long time that card technically did absolutely nothing when unmorphed when following the rules precisely, since there was no way under the rules for an X in an ability to hook up to an X in another arbitrary ability. No one realized it for the longest time because it makes such intuitive sense.
