Don't worry, as punishment for this high-trust community action the boomers swiftly undid all acts of kindness committed here. As soon as they saw what happened they voted to import in a few thousand extra people to depress the local wages, create division and friction, and force local homeowners to sell to Blackrock.

@north2green2 ай бұрын
It´s a nice gesture by the neighborhood parents, honestly, not the kids. The parents bought the candy and told the kids to do it, and as kids usually enjoy doing stuff with their friends, they agreed. You should say good parents, and stop buying into the media reports where they make an ordinary story more exciting because news is no longer news, it is entertainment. Every parent would say my son/daughter thought of this idea. That´s what parents do, always credit their kids, even when it´s not true. How do you not realize news manipulates stories to make them more interesting for naive viewers?
@sandyhubbard66182 ай бұрын
@ you are probably right that some of the parents made the suggestion to their child. However, don’t discredit children. Children can also be critical thinkers too when the example is set in the home.

It is the children doing this. Why do people always blame or credit the parents? There are many, many, many, more influences in a child life besides parents. And with parents working all the time the children are having to figure out things for themselves. So these are lovely children doing just what we were created to do and "society" punishes us for.

To say "always" is not true, and its not adult hood that tarnishes behavior its life experience, learned behavior, genetics and bad peer influence. A perfect example, where I'm from is a nice town with very little crime and such but growing up majority of black kids and alot of white kids acted, dressed, and spoke very ghetto even though they're from loving families that are well off. The biggest influence on a young adult is those they surround themselves with outside of family.
