I just think the uk need to support our own more, bham and Midlands is a big city we have no support of ufc at all. Too many fighters want to protect their precious rankings by ducking fighters such as Leon. Much respect to him for accepting a lower ranked opponent as that is a risk few other fighters are willing to take. He is capable of matching up against any other top 5 fighter in the division and then getting the title shot he deserves but he is showing more desire to compete than many others. Hey I am not a Colby fan or something but I wanna be honest. I remember during 2020 when he was turning down fights to the point they were gonna drop him from the rankings if he did not fight khamzat. Also Colby has fought 3 times since Leon fought so I don't think he has the right to act entitled at all. Also if people say he has not fought in a while because of the khamzat fight being remade not really, that fight was originally for December.

Leon was booked to fight Chimaev 3 times and Masvidal once. He fought Belal and lost the Woodley fight. Cov sat out for over a year just to lose to Usman in the rematch. There’s no excuse for Cov to avoid Leon Edwards in March of 2021 like he did. Leon came back and took fights and took the belt.
