So why not take a break and do TUF with a guy who can get u the most money? Perfect time to fight Jorge, since the division is stagnant.

That tear isn't even better than Jan's title run in a weaker division. 2) the idea of not having a "full camp" is a complete lie. He had been training for Usman, bringing in wrestlers for months and months before the fight. The only issue with those 6 days was the weight cut. Even then, of that's something you want to talk about, in the fight, he faced more tactical issues than gas tank issues. A "full camp" doesn't change that. Jorge isn't better than Usman. He's not beating Usman. He's not even beating Colby. Leon maybe is the best chance he has at 170

That's the only thing that grinds my gears with Usman: this guy is constantly hyping himself up as a versatile and exciting fighter. He just isn't. He won because Masvidal couldn't handle his grappling and Masvidal had huge endurance problems. Yet, it is perfectly clear that his standup is just not on Masvidals levels and - if necessary - that Usman can and always will pointfight his way to a win with cheesy footstomps and other techniques that never show intent to finish. As long as no fighter can answer his grappling he will remain champ. At least he has finally SOME finishes with Colby (arguably his best fight) and Burns ... though, to be honest the jab vs. haymaker slug fest against Burns was just painful to watch when being used the technical abilities of fighters like Holloway, Yan, Poirier or Adessanya ...
