I always believed that most of the shopping Jill did was unplanned at the time she left Alan Farthing's house. Witnesses described the man hanging about outside her house as agitated, and that he kept looking at his watch, as if he had expected her to arrive at Gowan Avenue earlier than she did. It seems clear to me that the killer had calculated the time she would arrive, but the extra shopping she did had delayed her. How many people knew she was going to Gowan Avenue that morning? I think you can work out where my suspicion lies - and it always has! I'm amazed the police have not been investigated themselves for not solving this crime. Jill Dando knew her killer , in my humble opinion. It's strange how nick Ross tries to play down that Jill visited her Fulham flat randomly when in actual fact it was weekly on a Monday , her fiancé stayed there a week previously on the Monday and her immediate neighbour Richard Hughes stated it was Jill's time home on the crimewatch reconstruction. This would mean the killer was Cognizant of her weekly trips there . So nothing convoluted and random here then . It also took her 40 seconds to reach her front door from setting her car alarm . This suggests the killer may have conversed with Jill . This would rule out a contract killer . He also shut her gate when he fled . Something more intimate and premeditated going on here .

To me, the closed gate is very significant. Humans act as much on instinct as thought-out behaviour, particularly at times of high emotion. When someone has just committed murder, that person is likely to leave clues, even when they believe they've committed the perfect crime. I believe the killer closed the gate because he did that by instinct; he'd been to that property a number of times, and always closed the gate on leaving. This otherwise seems such an odd thing to do, when one has just committed murder. To my mind, this case is a fairly obvious one, but - like in the case of MP Cyril Smith - the police were probably ordered from higher up the chain of command, "Kill it!" And - like former policemen who spoke out - they were never informed why the case against Smith was dropped. Savile was still alive when Jill was killed - and I feel confident that this was the issue the case revolved around. We saw years later how reluctant the BBC were to reveal the dirt on Savile. One has to ask.... "Why?"

DCI Hamish isnt a real cop as such..he is a namesake and " a safe pair of hands" for stopping stories that lead to stories that lead to stories, that then cant be controlled. A big story that would have led to things was the very last segment on Jill's last show - the hold up in Wisbech, Cambs. If that got reinvestigated it would unlock a lot of things: money financing a Jamaican drugs ring - the gun being from US etc-; the subsequent money being used to finance independent film companies ( for the likes of the Vera show) and so on.. a sort of Get Carter gang). How jill came by the details of the obscure wisbech hold up for CW is anyone's guess, but the Group ( who are, or were, very powerful) saw it as ' breaking their code'. " Hamish" is a play on the name of the gunner- it actually may have been " Amish", or " Amiss" or " Amess" or "Ames" but very similar.......the death of the southend MP Amess for instance was also a play on it, and so he had to be shot, or said to be. Nevertheless, the resultant fear created would provide an update to the original fear amongst those in the know.

I’m in no way doubting Nick Ross in any shape or form given his experience been a journalist and the 23 years he presented Crimewatch he clearly learned a lot on the show however I still don’t understand why he’s so against Barry George? Why can’t he aspect that George was an innocent man? Yes he some form of a personality disorder and was a bit odd but that’s a long way from being a murderer right? I agree that the newspapers and other media publications need to be carful with everything they share and not post stories that aren’t true that goes without saying but we must remember Jill Dando wasn’t sexually assaulted by her killer whoever did it clearly knew where she ( at the time) lived and it’s fairly possible he was waiting for her to arrive home? I’m not saying all those theories are right or truthful and I understand Nick wants justice for his co presenter and friend who wouldn’t? If I was in his position I would want that too but why the lack of empathy for someone who didn’t do anything wrong? I do think ( I might b wrong) Jill might’ve been killed by a hitman? Otherwise how did the culprit have any knowledge of her whereabouts? Plus the BBC well Crimewatch knew about the sexual abuse from some of the then TV stars but they refused to do an investigation and there were other cases that had possible links and motives for Jill’s assassination and been on that program through no fault of her and other presenters they may have unwittingly made themselves a target? For example when they interview witnesses to similar crimes where people have been brutally murdered and because those ( at those different times) who ran the show might have been the next potential victim? Since Jill’s tragic death a few other former presenters of CW were stalked by people and because of what happened to Jill the police ( rightly so) had to do all they could ( as with any victim of stalking or domestic abuse) had to take action and do all they could to protect that individual. I do hope one day Jill’s family and other families can eventually get justice for all those unsolved crimes and they can find some form of closure. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Happy New Year everyone hope you have a crime free and healthy 2023 stay safe and lots of love Xx

@@BritishKingdom Take another good look at the photofit (or whatever they call them these days) that was issued at the time.... Forget theories like Bosnian revenge etc. Why would some political group assassinate someone without claiming they did it? There's no point! The VIP paedophile ring is the trail to follow, and Jill was getting too close to the truth for some. And the person in that photofit is a member of that ring. And it should be obvious who that photofit is.

Ross needs to shut up. Everytime he's on a Dando documentary he constantly poo poo's any notion of a professional hit when in fact the Serbian connection is compelling. Even if not Serbian, theres other things out there with professional hit written on it with UK english connections. Anyone who still connects George to this needs to reavlauate the evidence. George wasn't intellectually capable of such a thing. Fact.
@TrueCrimeReport2 жыл бұрын
So Barry George wasn't capable of waiting outside Jill Dando's house for her to arrive, then pulling the trigger on a gun, and then running away. Seriously, this is your argument? So he can jump over Buses on roller skates with no problem, clean and feed himself with no problem, sexually assault, stalk and harass women around London with no problem. Any man capable of r@pe is capable of murder. You're acting like he was in a wheelchair or something, he only had Asperger's syndrome, How much of an "intellectual" would he need to be to pull this off?

@@TrueCrimeReport He did not have the mental, interlectual capability to pull such a thing off and leave no trace. None. Nada. The police arenot stupid they know Barry George didnot do it. They were told to dump the case because there was a bigger story coming out of this. The man didnot pick the bullet up because he didnot want to see Jills face. And he closed the gate when he left because he had been there before both these were mistakes to a perfect crime. He has told somebody about this without a doubt its too much of a burden all these years. Although if i had instructed him to do the job i would have silenced him straight after the murder. Those two clues were too big to leave at the scene.

A professional killer does the job and walks away. This professional killer got everything right he was nearly perfect. Except he left the shell case and the reason he left the shell case was because he did not want to have a memory of Jills dead face for the rest of his life. Think about it. It was just another job to him. Did he know Jill Know her personally Was she going to expose his mates Find the motive and the police will find the killer. But there's never going to be a further inquiry because the Police are convinced it was Barry. Mark William Thomas doesnot think it was Barry. Our Hamish Campbell is sticking by his decision he arrested Barry then got woffle to stage supposed facts to fit Barry George. What a mess.
