Bobbing for apples was a dating thing. Each apple was assigned a number to a boy while the girl tries to get the apple. You get three tries and if you get an apple, that's your soulmate. If you don't, you are destined to be forever alone (most commonly... with cats).

Bobbing for apples start In fact, it began as a British courting ritual, popular among young ladies and their potential beaus. There were several variations of game: In one set of rules, each apple was assigned to a potential mate. The bobber would then attempt to bite into the apple named for the young man she desired

This is real. Freddy's (the real life restaurant not FNAF ross) has the Chicago dog, which has both relish and a pickle slice on it. There are also several people who eat hot dogs with pickles on them, but I don't think I've ever seen just a pickle.

I’ve recently got into the horror stories by H.P. Lovecraft and they are so good. There is amazing free audiobooks on KZbin of his stories and I highly recommend them. His stories are realistic, but not at the same time and I really like that about his stories. “The Dunwich Horror,””The Call of Cthulhu,”and “The Thing On The Doorstep” are my favorites.

I love these videos man! And I think I know about the bobbing for apples thing! (I read it in a coloring book. I haven't bought it though sadly.) For anyone curious: Single ladies would bob for an apple, peel it and throw the peels over their shoulders to see the initials of their future husband. I'm so curious about this now
