I know this has nothing to do with this video, but in the last video someone mentioned the Great Emu War (Probably Pooki) and I wanted to simplify it cause it's genuinely hilarious. In 1932, Australia was overrun by Emus and it was a growing concern amongst the the population. There were 20,000 Emus in Western Australia. They were eating and trampling crops, destroying fences and letting in rabbits. The Australian Government decided that military involvement was required when the farmers asked for help (emus are fucking terrifying on the low) and...long story short, after two military attacks, 9,860 machine gun rounds, and some 200 dead emus later, the military retreated and lost the Great Emu War. A quote from Major G. P. W. Meredith, who was the commander for this Great Emu War "If we had a military division with the bullet-carrying capacity of these birds it would face any army in the world ... They can face machine guns with the invulnerability of tanks. They are like Zulus whom even dum-dum bullets could not stop." TL;DR, Australians were overrun by Emus and after two military attacks, the Australian Government lost to fucking birds.
