How nice to see! This piano was my daughter’s study piano for years, until her mum moved out of London and gave it to the Southampton arms. She couldn’t find a taker so it was a blessing on both sides!! Their previous one was in a deplorable state.. I have my own piano at home so we’re good, and it feels great each time we go to SA to see this old sturdy beast still standing 😉

Absolutely amazing. As a guitarist for 30+ years, seeing the wonderment on peoples faces when you play, what to you is a simple tune, but it's their favourite song, right in from of them is a feeling hard to beat. Everyone should learn an instrument.

Being a cider fan can I ask if you are in UK as if in us cider there is not if at all alcoholic ,warning if you are in us and come to UK cider here is alcoholic in some cases very much so . Regularly 6.5percent.or more,,Henry Weston's is 8.2 so after several no pain at all mate ,in fact what day is it ?

That was my local for 15 years I lived in Kentish Town. Live piano every Sunday afternoon, great beer, great staff, no TV’s showing sport. The ideal pub in my opinion. Great playing too!

What a fantastic old style pub, some amazing pictures, windows and fittings. The music was amazing as usual and really got a buzz from the punters. I only normally go to the spoons for my ale as rhe prices suit my wallet capacity. But I am going to save up to visit this one as it looks like my type of rub-a-dub. A proper pub - a piano - and Terry......the perfect combination! My grandfather had a lovely village pub next to an RAF airfield during WW2, with a 'good' piano in the 'Smoke Room' and a 'honky tonk' in the 'Tap Room'......I grew up hearing tales of wonderful evenings as he played and the aircrews accompanied with their own version of the words! So called 'gastro-pubs' or where food dominates will never have that unique proper pub atmosphere that Terry's adding to here!

I was left wondering if the 2 lads in the beginning were the tipsters in the opening gambit and you had arranged to meet up so they could enjoy the show.
