Saying exactly what ive been saying about Carr for years as a raiders fan. Carr is a great dude, he could be towards the top end of QBs but hes too injury prone at the worst times and hes simply too inconsistent. Ive been saying it since 2018. For every good thing he does he is guarantee to do something equally bad. Half of the season he'll be lighting it up, then he'll disappear. He'll make a sick play and then the very next play he'll tbrow it into triple coverage to "give his guy a chance" as he puts it. But all i had to hear for years is about how its not Carrs fault he just needs talent around him. Now i dont know how good the saints are, but he chose to go there. So that whole no surrounding talent argument goes out the window(it was never valid to begin with)

If you take Carr and Kamara and out them behind the Lions #1 ranked offensive line, they would absolutely excel. The fact that Carr was able to pull 5 wins out of this team is incredible. Last year, he helped improve our offense from 22nd to 9th in scoring with terrible o-line play, terrible playcalling, almost no run game, and multiple injuries to skill players and himself.🤷🏿‍♂️👍🏿

The Raiders made the playoffs twice with Carr. In 2017, Carr didn't play in that playoff game due to a broken tibia he sustained in the last regular season game. He played in the second playoff game (2022), Raiders lost 19-26 to the Bengals.

I disagree about the Saunders and Shepherd part. They both are not good. Good depth/rotational player, not starting material. I’ve been saying this all season. They are both weak ass hell. They both get bullied and pushed around, all our DTs get pushed around. That’s why the middle is always open for RBs to run down our throats. What’s the reason behind a weak run defense? It’s the defensive line, mainly the interior’s job. The Saints should consider drafting a DT if they’re going defense first

I love me some taysom hill but he’s not a full time nfl starting qb. In his time at byu he played like this, ran a lot, single read and not a lot of touch. In his time in the nfl, the scouting reports that were conveyed to me basically said that he wasn’t able to read defenses well enough to find the open guy on full field reads, that he was a guy that can do half field reads and most of his passes were rockets even when he needed to finesse it. Could he have improved? Maybe but I never saw anything that suggested he could be the full time guy year end and year out. The teams record when he started is a thing but still a TEAM thing and not direct evidence of him being able to be a long term starter. My two cents.
