I'm no expert, I'm just a 54 year old from Texas that has been a Saints fan for 44 years and all i can say is what I'd like to see happen..... new coach, new OC, new GM, and someone to work with Rattler. I truly believe he has the right mechanics, he just needs the right surroundings.

With the cap situation restructuring is the choice they gone make, I would keep Carr as a mentor for rattler & develop him but Mickey gone pull the wildest shit this offseason I can feel it no talent added & horrible draft picks lol

He just doesn’t have the eyes for it all the talent in the world doesn’t matter if they have no field awareness. I had faith in him but after seeing these starts I’ve seen enough to conclude he just isn’t goin to be an elite level quarterback he wasn’t in college either people are just inventing the hype around him and making excuses for his poor performance in college now the pros I’d rather than trade up for sanders get rid of everyone and build around him the thing is contractually we are screwed until bare minimum 2027 o agree with the overhaul but building around rattler is a grave error that will keep this team in purgatory.

For every Jayden Daniels, there's a Sam Darnold. Darnold has been in the league for 7 years and is just now figuring out how to play football in the NFL. The talent was always there. I'm not saying that Rattler is Darnold. I'm just saying that it's way too early to give up on Rattler. Having said all of that, I think the Saints should draft a QB this year...early.

two major reasons why the saints are in this position: Not selecting brees' successor from 2017-2021 (passing on love & lamar and not being aggressive enough for other qbs like mahomes) and doubling down on DA being HC and carr as ur qb.

I've been a Rattler hater since college and I hated the pick but no lie; I don't see a noticable downgrade when Rattler is in the field compared to Carr. They even make the same horrible mistakes when pressured. The difference is one is a rookie and the other is a 30+ veteran. There's no reason to play Carr besides the fact we're stuck with his awful ass contract

Feel for AK, Taysom, Tyran, DD and Cam, arent getting younger. Let Cam take the pay cut and retire a Saint or go get a ring he deserves. Just get AK his 50+ and back to drawing board.

Man, just listen to the last 10 minutes---Mickey Loomis has RUINED this team. Who the hell does any job with the Saints appeal to outside of the most desperate of candidates? If his can-kicking strategy was so smart and effective then why haven't there been any of the 31 other teams handling their money like this for the past 15 years? There is no light at the end of the tunnel until he and his philosophy are out of the building. Bottom line.

Knowing just how unlikely it is that we move on from him and just how embedded into the organization he is makes It's extremely hard to watch. Its a uniquely hopeless situation to be in as a fan. With Dan Schneider gone, there is no other situation like this in pro sports--and this is a freaking GM, not even an unfirable owner. Its just grim.

The Saints are talking like the Raiders 3 years ago, "get rid of Carr, develop Mariota/ Garoppolo". How has that worked out for the Raiders? Carr has always had great stats. He's rarely had good and healthy teams around him. Look at what happened to Stafford, Goff, R. WILSON, Darnold, Mayfield.

Raiders got screwed on the challenge for the first down. One of the worst calls I've ever seen he was clearly over the line. Also obvious face mask on abdullah wasn't called almost ripped his helmet off. Referee's are horrible this year for alot of teams

Best Player Available no position in the draft should be overlooked. I would love for them to fix the O-line, and start Rattler. Go 3-13 draft a possible franchise QB with a good young line. Unfortunately there is no way the draft plays out that way.

Honestly, I can't see a proven head coach working for Mickey Loomis knowing Mickey Loomis will actually handle the drafting, (he didn't do this with Sean Payton) cutting, making bad contract deals, hiring other sub-par coaching personnel, and coaching (unless like Dennis Allen making a lot of money)?
