My issue has always been kawhi and geroge are both injury prone, you can't have your main money makers both injury prone, one maybe is fine but not both. The current squad needs a healthy Kawhi or another all star wing/PF and they are set.

What I don't get about soccer and basketball players is how they are constantly falling after even the least amount of contact. I have played recreational soccer and basketball without referees, and we fouled each other very hard and sometimes with malicious intent, but it was rare to see dudes just falling all over the place after every incidental contact. A dude would limp for a couple of minutes, and then he would be back to normal and finish the game. No doctors were needed. So, how are these highly trained athletes constantly falling down after a little touch, and then they miss games because of it? Makes no sense.

At the beginning of the season, Joel Embiid should have just said "I have an injury in my left knee and I am going through rehab. So, I will not be available to start the season. I am to get as healthy as I can possibly get so I can make it through the playoffs, and I trust that teammates will hold the fort until I am back." This would have been a reasonable admission, and most reasonable people would understand his decision in the context of his history of injuries and missing playoff games. Joel Embiid rubbed the whole team the wrong way when he said he didn't want to play.
