This would be good in theory if the players didn’t already load manage and don’t either, literally not play or not try when they do play during ASG. So let’s go back to WEST v EAST but add some new better incentive to the allstar game . I personally feel players should be forced to play 82 games ( we all get paid way less and have to work everyday ) that in turn give you opportunities to reward them with $ , days off and some kind of bonus to their contracts for winning in season tournaments, ASG . The problem is we have put such an emphasis on winning championships that players aren't invested in an exhibition game in February. This is why the Pro Bowl happens after the playoffs, and even then, players for the SB teams don't participate.
