First time seeing the channel? I'm HALF PEEPS (aka peeps4321 or Samuel). I make video game animations here on KZbin, mainly using SFM (Source Filmmaker, animation software running on Valve's Source game engine) and S2FM (Source 2 Filmmaker, the updated version of SFM running on Valve's Source 2 game engine). Most of my videos are related to Valve Software (mainly Half-Life and Portal) but don't be surprised if another franchise pops up occasionally. Starting KZbin back in 2013, in 2020, I hit my first 1,000 subscribers (took me long enough, I know...) and subsequently hit 10,000 in 2021. My ultimate goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers. Half-Life is a series of first-person shooter (FPS) games developed and published by Valve. The games combine shooting combat, puzzles, and storytelling. The original Half-Life, Valve's first product, was released in 1998 for Windows to critical and commercial success. Players control Gordon Freeman, a scientist who must survive an alien invasion. Portal is a series of first-person puzzle-platform video games developed by Valve. Set in the Half-Life universe, the two main games in the series, Portal (2007) and Portal 2 (2011), center on a woman, Chell, forced to undergo a series of tests within the Aperture Science Enrichment Center by a malicious artificial intelligence, GLaDOS, that controls the facility. Most of the tests involve using the "Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device" - the "portal gun" - that creates a human-sized wormhole-like connection between two flat surfaces. The player-character or objects in the game world may move through portals while conserving their momentum. This allows complex "flinging" maneuvers to be used to cross wide gaps or perform other feats to reach the exit for each test chamber. A number of other mechanics, such as lasers, light bridges, tractor funnels, and turrets, exist to aid or hinder the player's goal to reach the exit.

I'm 31. I know older gamers who have died along the way who never got to see a conclusion to their favourite thing in the world. I truly hope I will be alive for HL3.

I think Half Life 3 should be the conclusion to the series, many games, tv series, books and movies that ran for too long slowly lost their identety and left a legion of fans mad. I would love to have not only a conclusion but an explanation of everything that hasnt been explainned, to know who Gman really is and to get rigd of the combine. I would love to know more about Gordon since he was always our vessel into this world, think about everything he has been thru, the one free man, the guy deserves not only a rest but to come back to his family and wake up like nothing happened, he didnt deserve to be used as the pivot for everything that happens, I guess at the end of the day the right man in the wrong place can make all of the diference in the world...

5 minutes ago i finished Episode 2. Half-Life in general is probably one of the best games i've ever played. When i saw the ending i finally understood why HL3 is so waited.

I don't imagine it like this at all. Valve wouldn't make it like that. More like a teaser with G-Man saying "Time Dr Freeman? Is it really that time again?" with Hazardous Environments starting up with a HL3 logo popping up.

Gordon and Eli find the Borealis, they fight their way in. . . Eli feels the only way to get Alyx back is to use the tech. Gordon and Eli (accidentally) teleport themselves and the Borealis to Aperture. GLaDOS finds them and realizes they are from Black Mesa by abserving Gordon's HEV suit. Seeing that Eli is handicapped she imprisons him while forcing Gordon to do some (unfair) tests while mocking him and expressing more emotion against Gordon than she usually does.
