By allowing any appeal it will take up the valuable court time of a senior high court judge, of which there are not many, so a true waste of resources. Well, most of think this isn't the real issue. What Harry's really angling for is to have his IPP status instated because this means that everyone else all over the world would have to pay for their security and would also mean that he gets diplomatic immunity meaning he can't be prosecuted which might be handy in his present visa matter. I understand it would also give him access to confidential documents on security which would be a nightmare in the hands of someone like him with the biggest mouth in Christendom. Many also think that if he'd won this case his next move would then be to apply for such reinstatement of his IPP status but, as he's lost this case, he can't do that - hence the appeal. However, the Jude is at liberty to deny his right to such an appeal.
