I 'think' that they may have thought there was going to be ice and snow here as well but they did come in November and lived about 10 minutes from me in North Saanich. Anyway, that isn't how it turned out and, after they were told they would NOT be getting their security paid, they lifted up stakes and left at the end of March. Their landlord (and others thinking they were staying), had made renovations and made things right for them 'according to their wishes'. Unlike paying the British public back for their grand renos at Frogmore, nothing like that was done here. Of course to be completely honest here, the renos were not full renos and the mansion they had rented on Madrona was beautiful and they had asked for minimal work done. i do believe that fencing was constructed as they had a couple of dogs when they were here and that was a major one. We have the highest concentration of cougar in the world and at that time, we thought that they cared about animals. There were also MUCH higher security bills than first agreed upon. As we are all seeing right now, Malevolent figured she was of great importance back then as well and folks said that there were far more security than they actually needed and Canucks had to pay for it.

But as you said that doesn't mean we really care if he serves in his family as a part-time royal or not. We just want him gone, sooner rather than later. My understanding about the NY police was actually a newspaper report rather than fact. There were only 4 photographers following them and 2 have given statements that Megan contacted them to say where they were - allegedly. I agree he chose his own life style. He has behaved so so badly. And there is an issue about money the coverage is for everywhere not just Britain. I couldn’t care less if they never came here. They have spoken about us and the royals in horrendous terms. I don’t want him hurt but I also think he needs serious mental health hope.
