Bigger mix of other plants, grass is best, then add energy and such. Like playing the races, bet on the favorite and other likely ones

I used to milk in a parlour the same, a bit slow but stress free, unlike a herringbone. It was a long process training the heifers to step up though.

I did my first milking on my own when I was 12 in a abreast parlour now in my 50s and milking in a 32/32 fast exit.

Yeah it’s a good type of parlour. But we are moving to a herringbone in the next few years. More for speed than anything.

Hello. Takes us about 3 hours each end of the day to milk and wash down at the minute. Well the shed for the fresh parlour isn’t here yet but we are aiming to be in it for summer 2026.
