It's not that Lee chooses to fight with only taijutsu, he actually can't use the other two. His ability to control chakra is so low that basic techniques like water walking are all he can manage. Guy realized that no amount of training would ever bring it up to a usable level, so instead of wasting energy trying they put it all into his taijutsu. Also, a note about the physical changes brought on by the Third Gate, the reddening of the skin is caused by the increased blood flow, and the green "aura" is actually his sweat evaporating as his body heats up

@@natanaelsouza1133 Ok first that's not even remotely true. Speed of sound is 343 m/s and unless Lee is Sonic the Hedgehog he is not pulling out that level of speed. Second I do agree that Lee will waste Dosu but that is due to Dosu being slow not lee being faster than sound.

Actually Neji could beat Lee too. Remember Lee developed the Hidden Lotus to deal with Neji specifically meaning that Neji could comfortably handle Lee even without the weights. Second Neji can stop the flow of chakra by pressing the points something he is more than capable of doing to Lee before he gets the lotus off.

@@indifference1015 Actually No. Remember they get who they fight then they enter the ring. Lee knows what it takes to beat Neji, Lee specifically mentions he developed the other Gates to beat Lee. Lee does have battle IQ and isn't stupid enough to start off fight without his gates open. Neji also couldn't believe Lee's incredible speed so add on the shock factor and Neji is done
