You are showing pictures of two different plants on your video fyi - gotu kola and penny wort. They are from the same family but different plants. Different shapes as well. Gotu kola is the lobed version you are showing. Eating 2 or 3 leaves a day of Gotu kola is what Ayurveda teaches (not dollar weed).

Thank you for the video. I have it growing in my backyard but something is infecting it and they are turning brown. They have tiny holes throughout and oddly, flys are attracted to them. When I query how to identify it, the only results I get are how to kill it. Are your familiar with what I’m describing? Thank you

Hey man just so you know, Dollar weed is not edible. Pennywort is. You can clearly see the difference between these 2. Dollar weed leaf are smooth round & the stem is in the center. Pennywort has pointed edge leaf with an opening connecting the stem & the stem is off center. you have to be very careful about this. There is another Pennywort version that the leaf looks like cloverleaf. That is also edible.
