Don't mind my red nose, oxalate dumping always causes me to get pimples inside my nose. Bloomin hurts 😩
@triciaduffyauthorАй бұрын
My oxalate dumping involved having a chest rash for 11 weeks! I tried all sorts of combinations and permutations for the itching and finally settled on Aloe Vera that also contained colloidal silver. As I never went vegetarian or vegan and didn’t take smoothies I thought I might miss out on the oxalate dumping but obviously I did have some toxins in my body. I still get an occasional eruption but only minor and quite fleeting.

Try "L'Oreal Paris Makeup Infallible Up to 24HR Pro-Glow Foundation, Creme Cafe" on your nose for filming. I didn't notice. When I was dumping oxalates my coloring was a bright lobster red in a ring around my nose and mouth. It took me 9 months to get through it. I went carnivore and it took 2 months of dumping before I knew it was oxalates. The problem is that carbs are an addiction. Keep fighting the good fight.

Love the channel, but I have one critique! From an evolutionary perspective, why do you think lifting man-made weights with artificial and repetitive movements is beneficial or healthy? Personally, I believe a more natural lifestyle-like eating a majority rare meat diet and walking-is best. Going to the gym seems more likely to contribute to issues like body dysmorphia, reliance on things like TRT or steroids, unnecessary supplements, and raised cortisol levels. Or were you mostly referring to people with desk jobs? I don’t recall you specifying that-you just mentioned that "strength training is really important.

@ it’s a very fair question, and thanks for watching the channel. I think it’d be best to do majority calisthenics because that would more reflect our evolutionary past. Ancient man would likely not have purposely exercised and certainly not with gym equipment, but they would have been physically active, walking, running, climbing, pushing pulling lifting etc. but the majority of people can’t / won’t do this, and so lifting weights is a good step. No doubt there’s body dysmorphia and issues with steroids etc, but that can happen in any walk of life.

I get crystals in my eyelids. I went to an eye surgeon last year and told him I thought I had oxalate crystals embedded in my lower eyelid. I asked him if he has seen these before. He chuckled and said it wasn't his area of expertise. The smirk went away when he dug 2 stones out a few minutes later. He was astonished and it was my turn to smirk. I regret not asking him to send them for crystallographic analysis. It is a cheap test and would have been great to document.

My father had a triple bypass at 70 years old, my younger brother has a CAC over 500 but at 59 years young my CAC is 0. We all ate terribly our whole life and have been overweight although at 52 I started KETO, fasting now doing OMAD carnivore with a few cheat days a month my BMI is 22 per DEXA scan. But I feel I did 3 things different than my brother and father: 1 I worked outside my whole life they worked in an office 2 I quit drinking in my early 20’s, they remained social drinkers their whole life 3 I exercised my whole life they did not.

Dr Unwins work on low carb diets for pre diabetes and T2 diabetes should be absolutely part of every GP practice. There is no excuse for GPs to be ignorant. Also there needs to be huge changes in nutrition guidance. And the destruction of the cholesterol myth. Even this week a cardiologist told me that high cholesterol "blocks arteries", and went on a "must take drugs" rant. These people are actually harming patients health.

I used to do medical autopsies. Plaque is made of old blood clots. They aren't yellow globs, like all the medical animation images on the internet show. They are beige, firm, rubbery soft fibers. This us confirmed when examined under the microscope. Only a small percentage is cholesterol crystals from the degraded red blood cell membranes and foam cells. There is a stain called glycophorin A that only is positive for red blood cells and plaque is loaded with it.

1) The NHS is top heavy and needs more front line staff and less middle/upper managers. It's a political football used to distract the UK populace into believing that progress comes from debate when the opposite is true. 2) How most people in the UK and Australia think : "Advances in medical technology and the free health care system will take care of me" - to their detriment. 3) Early morning sunlight is mostly Infra Red Long Wave light and this is what programs the mitochondria for 24 hours (circadian rhythm). Vit D is only made with short wave UVA and UVB light. It is important to get both. 4) The best thing after a clean carnivore diet for sleep is not exposing your skin and eyes to Blue Light after dark. Orange and red lights are best in the evening. Blue light after dark keeps blood glucose, cortisol and insulin up which doesn't aid quality sleep and in fact reinforces metabolic syndrome. 5) When we act like our distant ancestors we get healthy. It's not more complex than that.

Well presented. A good video for those just starting or thinking of changing their lifestyle. By the way, I watched an earlier video on muscle cramping and have started taking Boron each day. I am happy to report no more cramps. And it is true, nobody is coming to save us.

@@triciaduffyauthor so glad boron is helping you, it does seem to be a bit hit and miss, but for those it helps it’s a game changer!

Hey there Dr Suresh. You did leave out one important point, that's earthing/grounding. That is very good to do too. The earth is the best antioxidant around.

The message is not getting out. The NHS is not sending out this advice. Where are the advertisements and billboards advising to take at least 2000 IU vitamin D every day of your life?

Stop blaming people that they want a quick fix. Doctors, pharma and corporations are responsible for the mentality of quick fix. Doctors are ill trained, they are drug dealers, they know very little about physiology, nutrition etc. I am talking about preventive medicine, but they are very good in prescribing drugs. My doctor told me that there are no such a test as fasting insulin. She didn't know HOMA-Ir. When I asked her to test my thyroid she said if tests out of range they don't know what to do with them. I order my own tests and don't trust doctors. There are a few that I listen, I can count them with fingers on my hand.

@Ge1Ri4Ай бұрын
The problem is people are being brainwashed not only by commercial entities, but also by government agencies that have been captured by the commercial entities. It's a question of teaching people the truth about the difference between real food and convenience food.
