It’s definitely worth it to me to join Boost.I’m 82 and they deliver anything over $35. I use the Kroger trucks, not Instacart. They will bring it in and set it on the counter. I don’t spend as much since I am not tempted by things. I used to use Pick up but I still had to carry it all in and that meant up and down steps. BOOST has been a life saver.

Butter at Sam’s is $3.73 lb 1:19 in a 4 pack. Potatoes are on sale here in Central Florida. I picked up 10 lbs for around $3.99. I pick up potatoes whenever they are on sale and can them.

I wait til Xmas time to buy my butter. Last year it was $2.25/pound and I bought 30 of them and in the freezer they go for the year.

It was on my local news on Labor Day that Kroger is under investigation for price gouging. Reporter even said if you want to make an immediate impact shop elsewhere if you can. I stopped in kroger a few days later. A lot of prices were down.

That is a good price on butter. I got bacon for $4 a pound in my local area. You had to buy 3 pounds, but uhhhh . .bacon! If you pay attention, some of the sale prices are coming way way way down.

The buy 5 or more deals does not have to be 5 of each item, you can mix and match any of the items in the buy 5 save a dollar.

Exactly, and that should be explained here but of course isn’t. I believe you can combine any of the items that say 5 or more to total 5 and they are all over the store.

I joined Boost and I can never get the deals because they are usually gone. I was very upset and customer service at at the headquarters in Cincy and complained. If I am going to pay 59.00 a year I want the deals. Terrible.

Those potatoes are way overpriced. Only $3.99/5lbs @ Meijer Didn’t Kroger just admit to artificially inflating prices? Club soda is often used in mixed drinks, that is why it is near the mixers/wine. If you leave the ice cream decision to him, you will always get the ice cream! 😂 I am not paying for that Boost membership.

Don't freeze butter 🤢 it'll taste like freezer. Put it in the back of your frig, it lasts like a year. Also, its Tillamook, rhymes with fill-a-hook

I have always wrapped my butter in foil before freezing and never had an issue. I also keep my freezers clean.
