It's Time to Update to Mastercam 2023!

In Mastercam 2017 selecting all wire frame geometry then delete all non assocative entities executes almost instantly in 2021, 2022, 2023 it takes forever any fixes for this problem

That's still a problem. I'm not a fan of how the new Machine Group was introduced, but its here and it's here to stay. I'm sure things will improve for 2024 but that doesn't help us much now.

Can anyone answer this... If we upgrade from 2021 to 2023 is there any chance our past work may get corrupted or any other issues? Please let me know. Also, how to avoid any issues when updating versions. Thanks!

Use the Migration Wizard. You should be fine. Files won't get corrupted but just remember any files saved in 2023 cannot be opened in older version like 2021.

I'd be careful and I won't migrate part files... I got issues with a 2022 file which opened and saved correctly in 2023(no toolpath dirty). Fine. A few days later, i had to tweak a toolpath but some couldn't regenerate. It was mainly legacy multiaxis toolpath converted to unified. So be careful. What is 2021 should stay in 2021...

what is the price for mastercam mill?

Hate to say it, but, it depends. Best to contact a reseller. ...it depends on what level of Mill. 3D vs 5X etc. If you need a custom post or not. Simulation etc etc. And, I don't keep up to date on the price so I'd hate to guess at a value and be way off.
