Yep, I took my two kids when they were young (both under 10) and between that show and Dinosaur, they were completely traumatized and have never done either of those things again (15 years and counting). They are both happy that they are going away.

I still remember the look on my six year old daughter’s face when the seat bug wiggled by. I knew we would be coming back. These are the things that raised Disney far above a bunch of coasters. Really is hard to understand what they are thinking.

I will miss it’s tough to be a bug, it was always fun and can still remember my first time seeing it with my wife. Have never even seen Zootopia, but I’m sure it won’t be as good , hopefully I’m wrong

I love tough to be a bug too. Still sad that it closed at California Adventure. Although I do like the Spiderman ride quite a bit, so I’m torn on that one. I not only liked that theater for that attraction, but also for the movie previews they had there for a while. Seeing Maleficent in 3D with 4D lighting and smoke effects in the theater was an experience like no other theater would give. Still very memorable and missed.

I'll miss it's tough to be a bug, but not in it's current condition. Last I saw it maintenance had really let this one go - flik's eyes didn't work, and Hopper's range of movement was way way reduced - and I don't think the spiders come down as close to guests as they used to (maybe not maintenance related lol). this was about 2 years ago so maybe they've given it some TLC since.

Not really. I went last month and hoppers eyes were stuck closed the whole time, although his movement seemed alright. I think the spiders went down the same height but idk. I do agree though since Covid pretty much the maintenance has declined and although i absolutely hated it as a kid lol it is kinda sad to see it go as that’s a movie I grew up with

I miss the original disability program where you walk up to the cast members in the blue shirts and you explain your situation to them and then they just give you the disability pass and you were able to add your friends on there. It was simple and easy and it was better just to do it in person then doing it on a video chat.

This theater is pretty specifically designed for being this specific show, set in the roots of a tree, etc. I wasn't too broken up when the Bugs Life in DCA was removed ( but I loved it ) because I knew it lived on in Animal Kingdom in the single best show building it could have had. I'm sure they'll put something fun in there but once again we're shoving in an IP at the expense of breaking the theming. Stop already Disney. Please. Just stop.

@ yeah, it definitely fits there…I think French Quarter has a small jazz bar (Scat Cat's Club), but its weekends only. I would assume people may be more likely to go to Disney Springs than navigate resort hopping.

Wife and I went to Jellyrolls for the first (and I guess last time) in 2023 and we had the best time! Performers were amazing and the crowd was lively. I’m very sad to never go again. At least we still have Piano Rob on News Tonight... don’t you dare take him away Tom!!

It’s tough to be a bug is great. Its use of the 4d effects is so clever and the hopper figure is awesome. I’ve really come to enjoy it but now it will be gone. It also has a good bit of fear with a happy ending

Thank you for continuing to speak up for us in the disabled community who are still suffering from the Das changes. I’m slightly hopeful that because they’re changing anything at all they might change more and fix it. At the same time I’m still very skeptical they will since they’ve been pushing disabled guests to buy lightning lane. I have a feeling these changes are more so meant to give disabled guests false hope that they have a chance to get Das again since so many including myself refuse to buy a ticket since the changes in May. It’s great people can now cancel their hotels for free if they’re denied but those tickets are still non refundable. I’ll keep saying it. If you’re afraid of cheaters, require a doctor’s note. It’s what the international parks and Universal do. Then you don’t have to put as much man power into interviews which let’s be frank can be rather biased especially when the disability isn’t clearly visible.

I come here as you tend to be a reliable source of news, your rants, well its your channel, and you present as opinion, but I draw the line when you say 'and I don't care what anyone says, you're wrong, I'm right, a ramp at a grocery store is exactly the same as the DAS program.' Sounds like virtue signaling clouding your analogy powers. When is the last time you paid to use a ramp at a grocery store? When was the last time you waited in line at a grocery store? You put down Disney but the reality is all those people that abused the program previously are to blame, and they did take away from all those, able bodied and capable of handling line anxiety customers not to mention those that paid for lightening lane. And those that cheated would brag about it online. It's not at all the same as an empty ramp at a grocery store that no one is inconvenienced by if an able bodied person uses it. We should shine the light on our own community more so that Disney can work to make the experience reasonably accessible to all. I'll check back later to see if you get back to the news.
