I know this is bit different as it is in RS3. But during a few Xmas events Jagex added a secret Santa system where you donate an item and someone might get it as they claim the gift. So one year I slowly used the ancient brewing system and made cider with them and filled the calquat fruit kegs with that cider. I found that their price hasnt budget in about 10 years, that is why I picked that particular item and I flooded the secret Santa with these. After the event, their price moved again

RFD didn't have anything to do with Cooked Chompy (Roasted) because it's not a cooked chompy in the subquest, it's a cooked jubbly. The cooked chompy is only from Big Chompy Bird Hunting, so that would be the quest it's from.

The player has to cook a chompy on the shore of Karamja where Rantz fires an arrow. The smell of the cooking chompy is what helps Rantz and his kids swim across the water. Rantz then teaches the player how to hunt jubbly.

Climbing Boots 2010, the biggest reason players were mad was bcs the change got leaked to some players before it was applied. Prior to the update there was a spike in the price , people were stacking up on boots for a while and when the update hit they started mass high alching (since the highalch also increased proportionally) . It was so bad that it very quickly started affecting the economy bcs they were printing money, everything went up in price. This is why you need integrity in a developer.

I think if they buffed them to 3 doses, they MAY have a use in some scenarios but currently, the hp given from the mixes isn't worth sacrificing 2 doses per inv slot.

Barbarian potions are great for Irons, they're basically free herblore exp and while not the most efficient restore per inv slot they're good enough for slayer and other low-medium intensity activities. Herblore is rough for Irons, it's pretty hard to get decent herb seeds in bulk until pretty far into account progression then you have to stay on top of farm runs all the time to slowly stack them.

Yeah, there's pretty much no occasion I can think of where a 2-dose potion with a miniscule heal would ever be preferable to a regular 4-dose potion of the same type. You could just take a 4-dose and a pie and have 2 inventory slots that are much more efficient than using 2 barb potions instead. It wasn't thought through very well.

@@DearestClaudio if I remember correctly, the true killer is that they count as food so you can't both eat something and drink a barbarian mix on the same tick and it'll slow down your next attack... basically the slight upgrade of healing comes with a severe downgrade on speed.

I think it was a challenge J1mmy gave to himself where he made an account where the visible range was set to only a few tiles with the fog turned way up and the camera was locked to looking straight down over his head and minimal turned off. He then got friends to put him in places where he had to navigate his way to a quest NPC then do that quest. Could possibly use those elements to make a fun challenge.

10:20 I think regular flour has also worked that way forever. The regular unpotted flour, and presumably cornflour, is the item you see in the bin; you cannot pick it up but it is still there in game. When construction released you could get unpotted flour from the shelves in the kitchen and needed to drop it then pick it up with a pot. Not sure why the cornflour is tradable though.

There's an item in the game that is still obtainable, not tradeable, but is so niche, that it's forgotten about as it's so dumb. The rat tail from Witch's Potion quest is ONLY obtainable during the quest.

There are a lot of items like that… Obtainable but un-trade-able… Obtained and used in a quest once and then never again… Literally most quest specific items that you get during a quest that you didn’t have to get prior to the quest to do the quest… I assume I’m not the only one that considers those specific items “quest items”… I may be one of the very few people but also can’t be the very only one who collects some of them just for collection purposes even though they serve absolutely zero purpose outside of taking up space in your bank… Some notable ones that I like a lot are all the gold items that you can obtain during Priests Peril… They are not required but are possible to be obtained only during certain parts of the quest and never before or ever again… It’s things like Golden Needle, Golden Tinderbox… Golden Pot etc… All symbols for the priestly warriors or whatever from the lore of that quest series… Again they serve ZERO utilitarian purpose… They can’t even be used as the items they are golden versions of (tinderbox can’t light anything, pot can’t hold anything, needle can’t craft anything….) but to me it’s interesting and sort of unique… quirky… eccentric… but dope and bad ass pure gold items lmao… random I know but anyways neither what I’m talking about or what you’re talking about is similar to what this video is about but seeing what you commented made me think of this so I figured might as well say it.. oh well… hahahaha

I own an item you cant get anymore. Its the unfilled ectophial. There was an update a bit back where ectophials automatically filled after teleporting. Since most people would have dropped their empty ectophials or refilled them back before this update, I believe its a fairly rare item to posses.
