For those who say "we don't need more new shows, we need more seasons of what Netflix had before" --you're missing the technique being used by most streaming services. The whole idea is once a show is established, and has a fan base, a new season doesn't get you more subscribers. So new show might mean more new subscribers and that's all they want. It's not about building loyalty, it's about spreading the customer base.

But it could lose them some. Sure probably less than it gets but it still drives some people away. I still have Netflix but there's other services that had shows I wanted to see so I also had them. When they stopped the things I liked I canceled it. New stuff can be great but why keep it when they 1 get rid of what I got it for. And 2 show they will just end good things their fans like just to try new things? Why risk liking the new thing knowing they'll do the same thing?

I was hoping that the end of the movie would be that the guys actually did something terrible to the sister, in which case I wouldn't have felt bad about him ending up in jail, but she was a lil too petty. Framing someone for murder just because he's a Shyte boyfriend is wild. The social media girl also didn't deserve to be screwed over. She didn't do anything wrong and wasn't an a-hole like everyone else.

DENNIS framed Cyrus 💀 not Shelby and not Beatrice. and the reason Beatrice put Nikki into Reuben's body is because Dennis cheated on Beatrice with Nikki. so her revenge was focused on Dennis and Nikki. the d3ath and Cyrus ending up in prison ha nothing to do with her

And in addition these days so many tv shows are filmed like movies and almost every episode could cost over millions of dollars. And with movies sometimes there is too much corporate interference to the point where directors don’t get to film the way they see fit which surprisingly happens A LOT more than tv shows. Sometimes Movies deserve a sequel but don’t get it because of zero funding and then there are some movies that should’ve tv shows instead.

The flaws with film you mentioned are valid, but as someone who watches tons of independent and underground low budget cinema, a lot of those flaws dont affect what i watch. And thats the other thing. There really isnt independent tv - or self funded low budget tv. Tv is arguably far more corporate based on that alone because it pretty much requires corporate funding while movies can be made independently and pretty much anyone can make a movie. But not everyone can make a tv show. They both have their pros and cons im just saying i prefer film as a medium over tv.

THIS MOVIE WAS CRAZY AS SHIT. This is what happens. Okay so boom… -Beatrice was sleeping with Dennis. Dennis cheated on her with Nikki. This made her go bat shit crazy, have a mental episode, and get put in a mental institute. This also resulted in her brother Forbes getting expelled from college because he took her to the party where all of this went down. Dennis and Ruben told the college dean everything. -Forbes made the body switch machine and visited Beatrice a lot in the institute. Once when they switched, Beatrice (in Forbes’ body) knocked him out and escaped with the machine. -Beatrice (the sister who got sent to the mental hospital) was in Forbes’ body the entire time. Her plan was to get revenge on Ruben and Dennis for getting her brother (Forbes) expelled and her sent to the institution. -Throughout the entire movie… “Forbes” is actually Beatrice. -During the first switch…Beatrice, while in Dennis’ body, transferred all of Dennis’ money to an off seas account. -In the end…Beatrice took Nikki’s body, the machine, and the money she transferred from Dennis and rode off into the sunset. -In the end.. Dennis’ body is dead. He is now Forbes. Dennis (in Forbes’ body) and Forbes (in Beatrice’s body) are who are talking at the end. -Maya’s body died. She ended up in Brooke. (Remember Brooke died in Maya’s body) -Dennis’ body died. He ended up in Forbes. -Shelby and Cyrus are themselves. -Beatrice is now in Nikki’s body. -Nikki is now in Ruben’s body. (Remember Ruben died in Dennis’ body.) Beatrice masterminded the whole thing. She took over Forbes’ body at the mental institute. Went to the party. Initiated the game. Took Dennis’ money and Nikki’s life…and went on her marry way lol. Nikki got left as a man. Dennis lost his looks and money lmao. Ruben and Brooke died. Maya gives no fucks because she’s all zenned out lol. And Shelby screwed over Cyrus, by sending him to jail (remember Dennis called 911 while in Cyrus’ body and said he killed the two.)

Randomly found this film last week on netflix. Started watching it blind and it looked really interesting Around the 40 mins mark tho, i had to stop cos i was watching it in the background... Big mistake, i had no idea who any of these character names were and got so confused So rewatched it from the start last night, properly, with my friend and devoted the first half reciting every single persons name and little background story when they showed up on screen. Omg that helped so so so much Managed to pick up on every small detail and understand it so much better. Even then, got super shocked from the crazy plot twists The acting is amazing, everything was so fluid and made an unrealistic concept realistic. So cool, so underrated. Amazing cinematography and details. Super funny and we genuinely gasped so much 8.9/10

something I'm trying to understand is if Beatrice wanted to really take revenge on everyone, or just Reuben and Dennis. In the end, Forbes (who's in Beatrice's body) tells Dennis, that she wanted to take revenge on everyone, and it does makes more sense, because, how could she know Reuben will get killed in Dennis's body and Dennis will get screwed 'cause he doesn't have his body anymore ? she was in charge only on the body swaps, not what they will do with the bodies.

Holy moly. I just watched it. Great casting, great cinematography, great movie. Like when they tell a story and you see the stills changing, that was so artistic, and theres alot of those artistic touch in this movie. Great soundtracks that fit the vibe. The tone is not too dark, yet not too teensy, yet not too over the top. Its just realistic and grounded. Fun movie, highly recommended 😂
