Look, to use an appropriate travel-themed metaphor, with movies like this, it's not the destination, it's the journey. Nobody really expects the airport to blow up and the bad guy to get away with it- what is important is HOW Taron's character responds to the threat. I'm down for this.

I disagree to qn extent, there are a lot of mid, overhyped actors like Jenna Ortega or maybe Tom Holland, but Taron is actually quite good. Sure he's famous, but maybe a little overlooked/underappreciated, as his biggest role is in an action movie, which doesn't showcase his range.

Ive seen all the Carry on films and.. At first I wasn't sure if Taron Egerton could pull off the "Sid James type", but now I think im seeing the vision. Gender bending the typically Charles Hawtrey type character is probably a necessity, there is NOBODY AVAILABLE in modern Hollywood quite like him, and now im actually looking forward to seeing how you flesh out the rest of the cast. Barbara Windsor, Joan Sims and Peter Butterworth HAVE to be recast right. Looks like its gonna be hilarious though.
