Im going to Caribbean June & July and not sore whether I should visit Aruba or Bonaire. Heard that Aruba one spot is super gusty & Boca Grande is mega choppy and rough… Bonaire got only one spot, but it seems to be nicer then Arubas spot. Thanks for any advices

hello, fantastic your videos! Wich beaches are allowed for kitesurfing in Bonaire?
@chad3612 жыл бұрын
I just got back from Bonaire doing some epic Scuba and kiting (14-23 kts avg). I saw some signs at the kitespot $20 to be rescued. Some beginners were pretty far downwind with boats taking off after them. I'll be back too! 👊

I’m now kiting in Aruba, and the spot is also windy every day, but due to the off shore direction it’s also super gusty which can be very annoying. What about bonaire? is it also gusty most of the time ?
@stcattc2 жыл бұрын
Just go to boca grandi. Strong winder and cross on.
@gethighwithmike2 жыл бұрын
I'll have to check that out some day

Can you do a tutorial on bar magic? @2:06
@vinny613892 жыл бұрын
To tide you over here's a tutorial to get some perspective. The biggest part of bar magic you can't forget is that you usually have to roll your bar to set things right again at some point. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXKUoZh7rt6Vhbs

Windy every day? Such a lie! Lots of days where it's not windy or only light wind - even in the so called season that is mentioned
@pavelgolin24212 жыл бұрын
Switch Egypt to something that is on the other half of the Globe and triple expensive...and yet still riding 13.5m after all, and calling it a great place and windy all the time? Mike, really??...come on mate...
@gethighwithmike2 жыл бұрын
There wasn't a breath of wind in Egypt so we went to Bonaire instead. If you watched the whole video you would see that I was actually on my 10m every day except for the last day 😜 Thanks for the good vibes though brother!

Great for the environment as well: "no wind in Egypt, so let's go to bonaire" 😭

Yeah I think air travel and greenhouse gases is actually a complex topic. Luckily airplane manufacturers like Airbus are working on zero-emission planes. Check out the Zero E project. Until then, we can rest assured that whether I flew or not, the plane was going to take off with or without me 😅
@Frerikvb2 жыл бұрын
@@gethighwithmike hi Mike, appreciate your response 👍. I do not really see the complexity, long distance flying has a huge CO2 emissions. Why do you think it is complex? Also, the plane uses less fuel without you, your two friends and your kite gear. Last, when your stop buying these tickets, the airlines will stop flying. I think this behavior should not be promoted (no wind, so I fly across the globe)
