I have never picked up dodo eggs so dunno if they do or not. Also playing since early access doesnt really make you an expert on the game. I have played this game with plenty of players who have been around since early release and still dont understand half the game mechanics, that being said a lot of the mechanics have drastically changed since then.....aside from the glaring flaws such as meshing and duping

Guys you have got to clean out the beaver dams when you look in them. emptying it/destroying it will respawn a new one later. Otherwise the resources won't respawn with it and you'll be left with beaver dams full of just wood.

Simon's been playing Ark for longer than Doraleous though. Dora's always been a bit rubbish at Ark, in the sense that he just messes around and has fun rather than persuing many concrete, useful goals. Simon is willing to pretty much go along and do anything, and he's got more experience out in the field. His general improvements over the last while have brought him to a place where he's eclipsed Dora's natural transferrable experience from other games. Simon's actually trying and enjoying gaming, while Dora's just enjoying and messing about, which hasn't lead to him really getting all that much better or smarter at Ark since the Red Barn days. In my entirely unasked for assessment, that is.

Guys: Always change follow distance to medium or low on tames. This helps you control them more easily. When trying to load on rafts use the lowest setting if they are unsaddled. Also, when you gather anything from beaver dams take everything and toss what you don't want. This resets the beavers to build another dam from scratch otherwise the pilfered dam just stays there empty of the good things. Appsro - If you can spare the metal, use metal railings for your Jerboa pen. Baby Jerboas cannot escape through them. If you stack them 4-5 high ( easy when using S+) and add a thatch roof you will have a nice little enclosure that not only will contain them but protect them as well. Using stone or metal for the roof will even protect them from Rexes. Thick44- A megatherium army will take on Broodmother easily. They get a buff that enrages them when they kill insects and will absolutely shred any animal, insect and unfriendly human that gets close to them. They must be bred to a high level, have great HP and Melee and have saddles for armor (really good ones if you can find a blueprint for them). Use sweet veggie cakes (15-20 each) in their inventories to help them feed/heal/regain stamina during the fight. The addition of a Yuty ( also saddled for armor) to buff them with courage will help a lot.

~Pro Tips!~ -The underwater passage to the abyss is full of silica pearls! Taming an Anglerfish and doing a pass through this passage harvesting pearls with it will keep you stocked up for a long time! -Black pearls are found deep in the abyss. You will need several scuba tanks and some very strong mounts to escort you down to get them. I recommend taking a Baryonyx because they do not have an oxygen stat, and they can traverse the underwater caves you have access to through the abyss. - Thick44! The mod "Ancient Dragons and Wyverns" adds dragons and wyverns to the game that are smaller, more maneuverable, able to swim underwater (Although slowly, but no more getting knocked off by touching water!), and they can glide like griffins. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1206835819 -There are THREE castles on this map! Thick has found one. One of them (Redwoods) is particularly close to resources and some points of interest.

@Dora You can't rebola while a bola is still on their legs. You'd have to have someone remove the bola first or bola again as soon as the bola timer ends. It does nothing to the timer for the bola otherwise. @Apprso You are one of THOSE people! If you throw out the wood "O" when hovering over them, you'll make the dam disappear and they'll make new ones. Otherwise those ones with wood will stay there and you'll never get new dams with pearls, cementing paste, etc. @Neebs You an swim and pearls are there as well in Valguero. Simon... Great job with the Roo bro. I'm proud of you and respect the fact you're giving it honest effort. Always have a saddle ready b4 you tame anything, this way you avoid situations like that. Roo's are really good to have, a high level Roo will do some serious damage.

Best part of this video was Simon chases down and bolas and knocks out an high level animal successfully for one of the first times in the map without dying. Then Dora double taps it with a shot gun 4 min after it tames XD

thick you should get a shoulder pet. I would suggest a dimorphidon or mesopithicus but anything would do. Actually i think all of you could do well with a shoulder pet. each one has a different pet of course
