The year of Yoshi is upon us. And I’m going to be there for it.

I really do feel like aMSa has it in him to win a major. Like, I don't think it's going to be easy but after this I'm convinced he can do it.

Idk who the commentators were but they did a great job imo! Made it really hype and you could tell they were super invested in the games Amsa is sick!!

Agreed that aMSa is sick! Great commentary can't be appreciated enough. For me it can really make or break the enjoyment of the games being cast. Good commentators add A LOT. Thanks for watching N8!

"From my (limited?) experience I feel like the people who are hardcore into Melee (I feel like if you're watching a Melee highlight video you fall into this category)..." Really? It seems like highlight videos would be what people who *aren't* hardcore into Melee would watch. Like, if someone who's into Melee is going to recommend a Melee video to a friend to watch, they would probably either recommend: A. A hype set (like Axe vs Silentwolf or smth), or 2. A highlight video. Just my thoughts, I haven't been in the place of not into Melee or recommending it to a friend in a long time.

I mean ultimately it comes down how you define what a "hardcore" Melee fan. For me, anyone who follows the pro scene of any game is someone I'd define as "hardcore". I agree with your assessment that highlight videos or hype sets would be something that's recommended to someone who isn't really familiar to Melee. So, in that sense you might be right. However, I think for MOST of the people watching this, I'd argue they're probably well acquainted with the pro scene and the players. The other "angle" of hardcore is the amount of time you invest into something - so maybe someone plays Melee, but they only do Adventure mode, but they put in 4 hours a day or something. I think I'd also call that person "hardcore", but of course people might have different opinions!
