For $180 million, The Acolyte proves that Disney and Lucasfilm have become infected with people that have no idea what they are doing. Dune Part 2 had a similar budget and if you compare the quality of the scripts, acting, production, sets or costumes, you'd think that The Acolyte was a CW TV show with a $20 million dollar budget. The Acolyte is a new low for Disney and Lucasfilm and it's hard to see where they go from here. It can't be good.
