I decided to give the robin red boilies and pellets a try last year, 10+ trips across 2 venues and not even a sniff of a bite. Maybe I was unlucky on the days but other baits (boilies, bread etc) worked for me.

I would only say on the longevity. Be interesting to see when they start to breakdown. As you don't want a bait to sit that long on the bottom without degrading into it's individual ingredients. A good bait will degrade in the water showing it's solubilities.

Robin Red is up there with the best. Catches anything. I've had a perch out the river before on a 15 milly 😂

Happy days mate. I'm trying them out on the bank the next couple of days so hopefully will catch a few fish 😁🫡🎣

@tommycarping 👍🏻👍🏻 I've done well today on Baitworks Royal Marine and Atlantic heat. Had 6 or 7 commons from pasties to low doubles and these were fish that have probably never seen a boilie before. Expensive but good and buying bulk will force you to stick with it. 🎣 Not associated with them by the way, I wish 😂

If they taste and smell like when you put them in 24 hours later indicates a poor boilie. Same as if there still firm 24 hours later. I want a bait to break down and be soluble to actually attract carp. If there not going soft there not soluble. Which means it’s just a cheap mix with some robin red. Your better of leaning how a good boilie should react and break down for better reviews.
@elliottlock95557 ай бұрын
Yes very true 👍 no breakdown means it’s sitting there doing nothing basically.
@tommycarping7 ай бұрын
Dunno mate most of them haven't broken down but the tank stunk bad like Robin red I can tell you that much 😁
@tommycarping7 ай бұрын
Yeah. I get what you're saying mate and that's why I put these videos out so people can have their opinion and we can have a discussion 🫡😁👍
@DjSp1ke117 ай бұрын
There commercial baits made cheaply buddy. Wouldn’t expect them to break down. And the tank will smell from the over flavouring. Try a few samples from a decent roller you’ll see the difference in a decent bait.

@DjSp1ke11 will do mate. Always keen to learn and improve where I can 😁🫡
