A simple task of running wire 400ft from our solar panels to our power house turns goes to hell in a handbasket with one snap! Once again, we have more snow on the horizon so the issue needs to be fixed and finished before we get buried by snow.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.

Just watching you work in the cold gave me shivers. When I was young (many, many moons ago) I talked just like Josh. I was always being told to slow down, I can’t understand you. So I understand him and how hard it is to speak slowly. Somewhere along the the way I finally did slow down. I bet that fire felt great after being out there so long.
