Why are companies going to glock mags when so many people hate the angle and the thickness of these mags?

A) They're cheap, B) it takes Mecgar glock mags which have thin metal walls and 1 extra round, C) this is targeted towards law enforcement, and law enforcement overwhelmingly uses glock and would already have the mags available.

Yes and no. The drop safety is definitely a factor here, along with the lack of less durable cerakote since Staccatos are DLC coated. Reliability is also a huge factor here, and Staccatos are known to be able to run a long time without cleaning unlike many other 2011s. It's pretty obvious this is for law enforcement, and I don't see law enforcement using the Platypus or the DWX anytime soon. I think it definitely has its place in the market.

@@taestott let's be real the main reason Staccatos are making its rounds in LE circles is because Staccato is giving agencies and individual LEOs deals too good to pass up they aren't paying what the commercial market is if LE adoption is the end all be all then the P320 should also be getting talked up as well but we know what goin on with that gun.
