It Takes Two is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Hazelight Studios and published by Electronic Arts under the EA Originals label. The game is set to be released for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S in March 2021. Like A Way Out, Hazelight's debut title, It Takes Two has no single-player option: it is only playable in either online or local split screen co-op between two players.
t Takes Two is an action-adventure video game with elements from platform games. It is specifically designed for split-screen cooperative multiplayer, which means that it must be played with another player through either local or online play. In the game, players control an estranged couple named Cody and May, who are converted into dolls by a magic spell. The two must work together with assistance from a magical book character named Dr. Hakim in order to fix their relationship and return to the real world.[1] The game features a large number of game mechanics from various video game genres.[2] These gameplay mechanics are connected to the story and the theme of the level. For instance, in one level, Cody gains the ability to rewind time, whereas May can replicate herself. Players have to cooperate each other and utilize these abilities in order to progress. The game also features a large number of minigames.

If it's the same as a way out, It's single screen when you're next to each other in scene but if you separate it goes to split screen. If you don't like the look of this try 'a way out' Same concept, same Devs. It was a pretty good co op game and the best thing is only one of you has to buy it. And it's cheap.

Is this a Chinese game? The animations of the humans, like when the little girl runs with this weirdly dainty and shy animation, looks like something you'd see in a Chinese CGI animation. Also this idea that two people who hate each other should stay together to not make the kid sad, seems like something someone from a culture that is still somewhere in the 1950s would make the main plot of a story.
