Brought me back to the PS2 version Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and I get ot play as Jango Fett from Star wars with the Anti Gravity on and you'd just fly higher and higher into the sky! Those were the days!

I totally feel you on the gameplay, some are insane, and difficult. But once you nail a special, and clear that checklist. Sweetness Plus learning about combos, mid grind. Yup it's been there the whole time. Still so many awesome things to go nuts with THPS it was like Street Fighter x Skateboards Difficult to master, but fun to play

a lot of mechanics in the remake are things taken from later games in the series, stuff like manuals and reverts weren't even in the original THPS so thank god they added them in you can limit the controls to the old style in the options menu I think but the modernised controls feel perfect to me provided you're using the D-Pad like Lord Tony intended I'm not 100% sure but there's a chance that spamming tricks during a grind wasn't in the original first game, wouldn't surprise me

HOSOI DECK LET'S F'N GOOOOO! The whole time when I was growing up, I kept wishing there would be a "Christian Hosoi Pro Skater" because Tony Hawk was deemed to be too normie. Nonetheless, I was glad that game even existed. I would love to play Peggy Oki in one of these games! Some of my friends growing up worked for DLX. Good times back in the day. I used to get my HS boyfriend grip tape and wheels for his birthday, hahahaa!

I want to believe that if just Pete (or any other streamer) makes regular game stream its enough to make some awesome video (or series of videos) like this. Especially with the talent of Mudan group (Ericios in this case) and Pete's charisma. I realize it might be challenging though.

pete if you have played thps 4 you are forced to do flatland tricks to win the flatland competition in london. this game is all about doing wall jumps as well as keepin up speed, being in the air as much as possible and a avoid ballce tricks like manuals and grinds as much as possibe...

Great remaster, but as much as I loved the first two games, 3 and 4 were maybe my favs. Ive skated my whole life so after the first game came out I kept playing them til about Underground iirc when I got a little burnt out and jumped on the Skate games. As much as I love NES and Snes, gen 5-7 consoles were some of my favorites especially since I wasnt a young kiddo by then. I have a weird relationship with my young years tho lol, not the best childhood. Great games tho, and still love skating, punk rock and gaming - and Pete!! Woo!
