This is my nightmare in real life, I was in Bridgeport conducting force on force training when we had to cross a small open area due to terrain. Our squad was crossing when Suddenly the peak above us lit up with planks. After a couple minutes two squads stood up yelling “raw dawg” and as they egressed they were making monkey noises 💀

@@ThePubHuB sometimes you don't have a choice and you need to do so anyway, Besides when the order was given nobody knew they'd be running into an ambush, (Hence it being an ambush) so they just hoped it was safe, and as any good ambush you just Wait until they're in the Middle of the open and then trigger

They take the orders of the command and make them work by adjusting for the situation on the ground. If a commander orders you to run through the open field with no cover and you all die when you could have let's say, gone 100 meter to the North and taken the depression for cover, that's poor leadership at a junior level, you're squad leader should take initiative and do what makes actual sense. Outside of walking into an Ambush, that's fine, hence it being an ambush, they didn't know it was there. But they then didn't reach to it what so ever, simply standing in the open, not returning fire, and also sending more dudes into the killzone. This is poor leadership and poor personal skills from the individuals.

Theres a decent number of comments criticizing the enemy team here but if you pay attention it's not hard to tell that they're attacking another group on Karmakut's team. They're moving head-on towards the enemy so when they start taking fire they assume its from the enemies in front of them. That's why they're crossing the open field and why they stay facing forwards and begin firing. They were moving towards and engaging a group of enemies, and were unaware of the ambush to their right.

low graphics don't give an advantage in arma 3, as ground textures are rendered higher than the ground collision to simulate grass at range. at this distance, grass won't help conceal you very well, but you can see some of the feet and bodies clipping into the ground a bit to simulate grass.
