For the record, only after you download their software it lets you know you're not getting that free trial without giving out your card number. Nothing wrong with that if you let me know you before you make me download the software first. Should be pointed out on the homepage.

So much shitty software like that nowadays, I hate when I'm looking for a very specific software and have to go thru downloading 10 apps only to discover all of them paywall almost all of their features. Of course uninstalling them completely is always a nightmare, fortunately I found a good uninstaller software recently.

alr since almost everyone here has a literacy rate of a 5yr old and screams whenever they see the word "AI", ill explain as someone who've been in vocaloid/voice synth space for years now this isnt really in detail but ig itll give you a bsic understanding - ACE studio, and alot of voice synthesis software (eg. VOCALOID, UTAU, SynthV) are literally almost the same, but with different methods and make different results. - just because it has "AI" on it doesn't mean it's comparable to bad AI stuff such as AI art or AI voice changers. infact stuff like this has been existing WAYYY before the existence of Unethical Generative AI - just like all the commercial vocal synth softwares, all of the voices in here are made with CONSENT. the voicers know what they're doing and thet are paid for these. unlike (Unethical) GenAI where they take everything without consent - honestly just think of it as an alternative to vocaloid or UTAU anyways SynthV >>>>>> ACE studio

The way that the vocals are sourced is the most important thing here. If it operates like vocaloid or UTAU where nothing is stolen then it isnt a problem(If your unfamliar, an example would be that Hatsune Miku was built from a real person purposely and with their consent). However if it's an unethically trained AI built upon stolen art, then thats an issue. I cant seem to find anything on their website in regards to sourcing so its safe to assume its more stolen ai slop unless someone can find evidence otherwise

AI bros don't care as you probably have noticed, visual artists are being wiped out. I mean it's not as good as a real vocalist, experienced ear can tell it's not real. It's lacking imperfections (real vocalist is almost never exactly on pitch, often quite bit off), breath sounds (yes you can program those, but it's tedious), feeling, pronouncing words in artistic ways. It can't sing a believable hard rock vocal track, something like Chris Cornell. Chris changed his voice in ton of ways, within one song. From tender to grit to full scream. AI can't do any of that... yet. AI vocals sound like autotuned, mediocre human singer. And programming it is tedious, if you have a good singer, it's easier to just sing for real

@ロルロレイ
@ロルロレイ 26 күн бұрын
@@uriahrootsva I hope I can at least shed some light on the facts with my rather informed opinion and foresight as someone who has been into ML since I was a child before it was cool, and as someone who partakes in such "replacable activities" at a high level, though merely as hobbies. Basically, humans are NEVER TRULY getting replaced. Human works will always be valued higher than AI works. It's hard to explain, and even then ThE fUtUrE iS aHeAd oF uS. What generative AI is (even currently) doing with jobs, is not "destroying job markets", but "getting rid of jobs that should've never been jobs!". Because, generative AI is merely a tool, to both businesses and private individuals. (Imagine this: there's a person who needs voice acting, but actually isn't an idiot. So, they use an AI that they are able to adjust to their liking! In the end, the same or similar quality result is achieved, but this solution has the bonus of not supporting activities that people really want to be jobs) So technically, people like you are getting replaced. That's how the kids call it, "a skill issue". Why have you been learning how to sing and improving your vocal ability? If it's only to have it your job, then that's pitiful.

Because it allows people who don't have the confidence to actually sing to create their own lyrics without having to sing themselves. @galaxyexpress1020 Ok, thank you for explaining that part, the only reason I was concerned was because I assumed it was sourcing the voices from the internet most likely without consent. Hoping to see more of your personal creativity rather than shilling more AI in the future. Negative environmental effects of generative AI aside, this impacts the music industry as a whole when taking jobs away from session vocalists. Can't afford to hire a vocalist? There are so many singers out there who offer their voice for free on casting call sites as a chance to network and collaborate. But with products like this we're just going to carry on with the same regurgitated sounds over and over and over. If you're genuinely putting creative passion into your music, then your music deserves better than AI generated vocals, I promise.

I understand where youre coming from here, but vocal synthesizers like Vocaloid and SynthV have existed since 2000! Theyre an entire community and genre unto their own, not a replacement for real vocalists. I'd absolutely recommend looking into the works created with vocal synths, theyre the furthest thing from lacking creativity. My recommendations; - "Rolling girl" - Wowaka - "Meltdown" - iroha - "Butterfly On Your Right Shoulder" - noripy - "Echo" - Crusher That being said, I feel that this program in particular is scammy for being a subscription service that runs incredibly slowly online, while pretending to be new and innovative. The *standard* in vocal synthesizing is entirely local, one-time purchase programs. Vocal synth programs have even been using AI far more effectively (with voice actors putting great amounts of effort into their respective voice banks) since at least 2022. (when the voicebank Solaria dropped.)
